UPDATE..... I HAVE GOTTEN SO MUCH ACCOMPLISHED.....IM NOT DONE BUT IM STILL PLUGGING AWAY!!! I AM GOING WITH..... I HAVE GOT THIS! _______________ Has anyone else ever been struck by "The Mood"? You know... that completely irrational burst of motivation where your brain wakes up and says, "Today is the day. I shall transform my entire life". Well, this morning I decided I was going to organize, declutter, purge, and become one of those people whose bedrooms look like they belong in a home magazine. So naturally, I took EVERYTHING out of my bedroom. Yes everything except the bed and end stands... My living room, however, now looks like a yard sale and a tornado had a baby. The worst part? My house was COMPLETELY CLEAN before this........ except for my bedroom. My logic was........... Take everything out. Clean room. Put everything back. Become an organized adult. Live happily ever after.......... What actually happened, Take everything out. Clean room. Sit on floor. Stare into the void. Question every life decision that led me here. I now have exactly FOUR HOURS to undo the chaos I've created. Current resources, Adderall, Celsius, Mild panic, Regret, Executive function I need the all of us ADHDer's assemble. Please send Motivation, Threats, Bribes, Timers, Accountability, Memes, thoughts and prayers........ And if you've ever turned a 20-minute cleaning project into a full-scale home renovation disaster, I need your stories so I don't feel alone. May the dopamine be ever in my favor.

Have you ever noticed notice tiny details other people miss or don't even care about BUT it soooo obvious to you? What's the weirdest thing you've ever spotted that nobody else noticed? Or a weird thing you do that people side eye you for? Mine..... I walk into places and if the picture are crooked, I will fix them..doesnt matter where I am ...

Oh...Didn't have to think hard about this one... I buy stuff when I need some "retail therapy" and then when I come to my senses I return most of what I bought! Side eye from the customer service peeps! 😎!
Time blindness at it's greatest
📅 Daily Check-in - June 12, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Early start to the morning. Internet issues where I've been kicked out of the live Q&A constantly so the frustration levels really started to rise. All this on an empty stomach too I'll note. Not completely true - I had a cup of lemon & ginger tea. Anyway, boys home sick all day yesterday with fevers and my sleep was interrupted during the night by the boys - understandably. The joys of being a parent. Yesterday was a mixed up day - I thought it was Wednesday not Thursday so missed my Thursday meetings (one of which was a pre-board meeting with the chair...whoops). So here's hoping for a better day today. At least I got a few urgent things done before the board meeting. I have a couple more to do this morning and then I'll be prepared today - one meeting I can't afford to miss as it all hinges around me lol . So one thing I'm going to try to do is concentrate on not being so time blind - something that I've suffered with a lot recently. That's my challenge for today! @Judy Hamilton I actually started using a timer to try and get tighter on time in my sessions....It didn't work ...The timer goes off and I just keep right on talking!!😂
Sleep…really makes a difference 😍
Since the last challenge I have been focusing intentionally on sleep as a big rock. I can now say that I have consistently been getting to bed before 10:30 for 4 weeks and I’m getting close to my goal of 7 hrs sleep per night…it’s really making a difference! I find I am generally more focused and feel like I’m following through with things… I’m doing daily planning and actually ticking things off my list. Lots of these are things I have been procrastinating on for months. I’ve also had other wins…especially with maintaining zero in unread emails across 3 email boxes. I never realised how draining that little red number showing unread emails was until it was no longer in the 1000’s ( I have collectively deleted 20,000 emails to date). Getting sleep set up as a big rock was the best thing I could have done.🥰
Sleep…really makes a difference 😍
