That my mother knew what she was talking about when she said, "As you get older, time goes faster!" My smug 17-year old self disagreed, speaking with logic and analysis, "Mom, time doesn't go faster. Time is time. There are 24-hours in a day, 7 days in a week, 28, 30 or 31 days in a month. Time is time. Time CAN'T go faster!" We don't know what we don't know but I was sure I knew at 17-years old. She knew what she was talking about. "Time goes faster as you get older!"
