Howdy all!
Hey Clief Notes peeps, I'm Heith, and I've been building quietly for too long. I found Jake, his ICM method, and this community, and I'm excited to be a part of it. I'm building custom managed agents/workflows for SMBs and plan to launch this month. I'd love to connect with anyone in the same space. Any advice is appreciated!

@Jeff Van Leenen thanks for the warm welcome! I'm looking forward to learning from the group and helping others however I can.
The “Second Eyes” checker- better to pit different organisation’s AI against each other, or fresh instance is enough?
I’ve been going between Codex and Claude for checking each other’s work if it’s something really important, because they ALWAYS pick up on issues and intuitively it feels more sound than just using a fresh instance of Claude alone.. It also seems like it makes sense, since the companies are competitors, so I hope they’re more incentivised to poo-poo on each other (despite Claude and Codex/ChatGPT being so delightfully polite about it). In one case I used Fable to start, and some less sophisticated ChatGPT model to check!! I took it back to Fable who was basically like “oh it’s right, I missed those major things, good catch by Codex”. BUT: Maybe I’m just deluded, I’ve never spent the time to do a proper controlled trial, with cloned files/folders and comparing fresh AI from the same thing (e.g. Claude and fresh Claude), vs Claude with Codex. And if I’m honest, I can’t see myself sitting down to do the trial either, I’ve got too much backlog of more urgent things to do. Has anyone already looked into this?

@Hayley Cullen-Xiang Hope it helps! The LLMs are designed with "helpful optimization"; they won't admit it, but since both Anthropic and OpenAI are trying to go public, it's been baked in for a long time. Most users don't push them or do any checking, so it often goes unnoticed. The fact you recognize it is a big win. With models being cheap and available to everyone with internet, it's taste and discretion that will produce high-quality output. Otherwise it's just AI slop.

@Hayley Cullen-Xiang lmk how it works. Fun fact, I was reviewing my /no-mistakes setup and after reading on x yesterday that some developers were not use PRs in GitHub I decided to test my BCP as a code review before commiting and it worked great. Just finished testing and it worked better than I hoped. Here's Opus's take "That puts a bow on it. No-mistakes is parked and documented. Your finish step is Builder-Challenger, written into the rules and backed by a tested skill. And the first real run of it caught a broken upgrade path that would otherwise have gone live unnoticed."

Quick reference in case you run into any issues getting set up or using the Clief Notes Agent + Roadmap. Go to Start Here → How to Access your Clief Notes Agent & Roadmap and follow the steps. **Browser Compatibility** The Clief Notes extension only works on Chromium-based browsers that support Chrome extensions. You can use: - Google Chrome - Microsoft Edge - Brave - Opera - Opera GX - Vivaldi - Arc Safari and Firefox are not currently supported. For the smoothest experience, we recommend using Google Chrome. **Troubleshooting Guide** - Don’t know your Skool @username? Go to your Skool profile → under your name, copy and paste your @handle. See the image for reference. - If you lost access in the extension: Most of the time, all you need to do is sign out and sign back in using the same email you originally used. - If you see the Creator Dashboard: If you ever get logged out or land on the Creator login, simply switch over to Student and log back in using the same email. - If the extension is gone: Log out and log back in with the same account. - Important: Use the same email every time. That is what keeps your profile, roadmap progress, quiz data, and AI personalization connected. If something goes wrong, you get stuck, or your question isn’t covered here, comment below and tag me or @Nazar Tymiv . We'll help you get sorted.

@Jose Guerra if only I could get that last point, it would be back to learning. Just saying ;)

@Jose Guerra yeah buddy! I owe you one! Best of luck with Dexter; it's a great idea. It should be a no-brainer for every skool group.

Haven't entered one yet, but love seeing in the results. Gotta make time and commit to one of these.
Community Guidelines
This community is large and it moves fast. That's the good part and it's also the problem: valuable posts get buried, the same questions get re-asked instead of found, and spammers show up wherever there's an audience. These guidelines are what keeps the room worth showing up to. Read them once. You won't need them again, because most of this is what you'd do anyway. New here? Start with Jake's welcome post and the Foundation course. This post is about how we behave, not where to begin. 1. Build in public. Post the thing while it's half working. A half-finished build is more useful to everyone else than the polished writeup you'll never get around to, and you'll get corrected before you've spent a week going the wrong way. 2. Teach what you learn. The day you figure something out is the day you're best at explaining it, because you still remember exactly what confused you. A month later you've forgotten the hard part and your explanation gets worse. If you cracked something this week, that's a post. Nobody has to earn the right to ask a question here, but this place only works because people come back and answer them once they can. 3. Ask good questions. Specific beats polite. "How should I structure this?" gets three vague answers. "I have a 40 file client folder, the model keeps loading the wrong context file, here's my CLAUDE.md" gets a real one. Say what you tried, what happened, and what you expected instead. A more in depth guide: https://dontasktoask.com The flip side of this: "Anyone here?", "Help please", and one line questions with no context may get removed. Not to be harsh, but because nobody can answer them. 4. Give credit. If you built on someone's skill, template, folder structure or comment, tag them. It costs you nothing and it's the reason people keep publishing their work here instead of keeping it. A lot of the best material in this community started as somebody's reply on somebody else's post.
