It's a small action, but a HUGE step in you getting value from this community becasue you go from being a lurker to an ACTIVE member. In fact men that introduce themselves are 10X more likely to the actions to becoming their best selves. Bonus Point - By introducing yourself you're guaranteed to level-up. In the last 4 months, I have lost 30lbs and 6in off of my waist, going from a tight 42 to a loose 38. My hair/beard style and care is better, and not only do I have a new wardrobe due to lose of weight, but it is of a much higher caliber of style. I have gotten many compliments from family and even my bosses at work on my improved dress habits. Many thanks to all of you in the RMRS community for the inspiration and readily available style tips. It is all greatly appreciated. Edit: I have lost 30lbs, not 3lbs.

While I have done a lot of posts about blending patterns some times a solid ensemble can be impactful. Most of the time it feels like a guy is just putting in little effort when wearing a solid tie and shirt. But with the mixture of color and texture blending, it can work pretty well. I tried that here with mixing some colors that pair very well together. Dark green with light blue and dark green with grey. I built this from the CT blue Oxford basket weave shirt. Added a medium grey MTM Oct 1995 suit (technically not completely solid since it has ghosted windowpane) then chose the green CT grenadine tie. Not only were the colors harmonized but the texture of the shirt and texture of the tie added some depth to the otherwise simple color scheme. Accessorized with Pantherella socks, and my 1982 Alden shell tassels and my late 1940s Ernest Borel watch off to church I went.
