I've been MIA and I owe you an explanation 👋🏽
I have been gone. Not physically. But you know the kind of gone I mean. Before I say anything else, I want to say this. I've changed the group back to free. And anyone who paid for a membership in 2026 has been fully reimbursed. That was not a mistake. That was a decision. Because this is not about money. It is about community. I want to be real with you today because this community deserves that from me. I left corporate America in 2019 and went all in. Within 18 months I had hired my first full-time employee. A year after that, two more across both businesses. Our income more than tripled from where we started. I was nonstop. And then 2024 hit me like a wall. I am still recovering from it financially. And I'm not ashamed to say that. What I want to do over the next few weeks is have an honest conversation with you about being an entrepreneur who is human. Burnout. Seasons. What I actually do when my battery runs out. And how to keep building even when you cannot run. I want to hear from you first. Have you ever hit a wall in your business? Not a slow week. A full stop. You don't have to post every day. You just have to schedule it that way. 📅
I used to think being consistent means sitting down to create content every single day. It doesn't. It means your content shows up consistently. You don't have to. The tool: Later -- https://later.com/r/108576 Later lets you schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more from one dashboard. Write everything on Monday, schedule it to go out all week. Here's your action this week: Block 60 minutes and try this. Step 1: Write 3 captions for posts you already know you need. A value post, a story post, and a question post. Step 2: Upload them into Later with your images. Step 3: Schedule them to go out Monday, Wednesday, Friday. That's it. That's a full week of content in one sitting. The goal is not to be on social media every day. The goal is to look like you are. 👉🏽 Later and every other tool I recommend is inside the Tech Essentials Guide in the classroom. Which platform do you post on most consistently right now? Why Positioning Matters
Branding Beyond Clippers is showing no signs of slowing down. In recent weeks, I was invited to speak at 4 of 5 barber schools in Orlando. I'm talking dates on the board. That's going to put me in front of 200+ barber students by the end of 2026! Why did they say yes? They are impressed by what they've seen and hear about Branding Beyond Clippers. And, that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you're social platforms aren't performing, ask your self this; what is the purpose of my presence online and what do I want my content to do? Then make adjustments from there. I'm learning that success on social media is about performance and authenticity. If you can't measure the results, the question may help you figure out what's missing.
