What time do you run sessions?
Hi Skool Dads! Lots of my dads are USA based, so I'm grappling with the time zone issues between them and their Kiwi counterparts.... and some in Europe... Since most of you are in the USA, question for ya - how do you find people's attendance to live calls (an hour to 1 hour 15 mins long say) - is that usually only evenings for USA dads, or lunchtimes or early mornings get a decent buy in too? Thanks heaps guys!

The Power of The Invitation!
April 1st I stopped overthinking and went back to the basics. I just started sharing my community with wins wherever I could while simultaneously inviting everyone I could. Turns out, it works! 🤣 Here is come of the data: $1800 MRR in 14 days and 11 new members of Dadland. Engagement also increased significantly. Dadland just had its most active day in over 12 months with 473 activities. Active members increased from 40% to 60%! In short! Keep it simple. Position yourself as an expert/authority with social proof and invite people to work with you. 💪 Do this every day! Let’s go!!!! New ATH MRR too at 8k! I am going to get that rocket ship emoji soon. I can feel it!

@James Blackburn yes I think it is giving confidence to people that you are a few steps ahead and can help them with crucial things they may be stuck on, rather than being a complete superstar. I am all for authenticity, but recently I got a newsletter from a guy building a dad community who said he was burnt out, his marriage was on badly on the rocks etc. And although i admire him being real (I genuinely do!), it doesn't leave me with confidence to want to sign up to be lead by him. Hope that makes sense

@James Blackburn yeah definitely, there are all sorts of factors, but I think it's getting that balance between guide and authenticity. I look A LOT at the marriage/partnership relationship in my paid course, it's so foundational.
The careful moderation in Skoolers is awesome
I’m an action first type of person and I learn from feedback. Today I learned a good lesson inside of Skoolers. I posted asking if others were neurodivergent. I left the app and went back to work. Opened it later and apparently my post was taken down and I had a really nice message explaining why. Skool does such a great job moderating and curating the content inside of Skoolers and just wanted to mention this here. Here’s my Fail Bank deposit: - Audit: Posted in Skoolers asking if there were other neurodivergents with a poll. That post violated the guidelines set inside of Skoolers. - Reconcile: There was no ill intent, but also no mindful consideration of the rules. - Reinvest: I will read the rules and they even shared a video about them, which I will watch after posting this. If you need to know, I violated the no self promotion rule because it was classified as market research.

It's so tricky because if your community is about building community on Skool, you can get away with so much in terms of posting on Skoolers, and they don't see it as market research or self-promotion, whereas many times it is!

@Brian Walsh yeah true
Morning win! 💪🍳
Thought you fellas might appreciate this. Won the morning with a 4am morning workout (before the kids and wife wake up) Absolutely lethal post workout meal - 1 egg + 200g egg whites topped with local Austin, TX red jalapeño hot sauce. - Avocado toast topped with everything bagel seasoning ( try it ) - Cottage cheese with frozen berries - Magic mind nootropic shot. After this hopping into a deep work session on my community updating course, a little vibecoding, and taking some calls. Let's go!
Morning win! 💪🍳
