"Carnivore didn't work for me."
As a coach, do you interpret this phrase as a common misconception or an accurate experience?
"Carnivore didn't work for me."
I think it’s in the mind, sadly. I’ve spoken to many friends about my experience, and many say they can’t do it. They love [enter food]. Or they need to eat [enter food]. So at the end, if they try it for less than 3 months, or even 1 month, correctly, I don’t think it’s “It didn’t work for me”; it’s, “I don’t want to go through the trouble of healing”. Healing takes time. You nap (which I don’t like but had to do), you feel different (I had histamine issues), you need to troubleshoot, you need to be bold and speak up. Say no, say you don’t eat certain meals. You need to get out of your comfort zone. If clients are not mentally prepared, they will easily say it didn’t work. Then we have two options: Give up on them, or ask what didn’t work? And see if they are willing to troubleshoot with you as a coach. I prefer the latter. If they give up on themselves but have one person that doesn’t, we can change everything. For them and us as coaches. And if they leave, we know we did our best to save a life. 🎀🥩

@James Dawkins I have people say “I can’t stop my vegetables! I love my salads” and then you see them pouring sauces on it. It’s not the vegetable, it’s the sauce honey. Thank you James!
Will Dietary Fat Make You Fat?
Can a high fat Carnivore diet really cause excessive fat gain? Or is this just mainstream nonsense entering the Carnivore community?

Fat, no. Fat and carb yes. I’ll explain. If we have clients on a carnivore diet who are over consuming fat in the form of dairy, such as cheese, cream, milk, they can stall or even gain weight from it. But it’s not from the fat in the dairy. It’s the carbs. Many people think “I need fat, so i’ll add cream, eat cheese”. Those are carbs. If you like it or not. Carnivore CAN BE zero carbs, but not all of them are. Therefore, we HAVE to educate our clients about overconsumption on dairy. Us as a coach may never over indulge in them. But I have a history with BED. I never binged on butter, but I sure binged on cheese and cream and think, it’s keto! 😔 so why would our clients not think it’s carnivore? It’s fat! Personally I am doing lion. I have my tallow, and I had a spoon or two of it that. I felt sick after. I only cook with it. Beef fat? Family members were passing them to me like chips. Felt sick after. So I think the body doesn’t let you binge on what is good. If you do, you feel sick after. That is the beauty of carnivore. You heal your body by learning from it. So if you need fat, it will tell you. If you need protein it will tell you. And slowly our clients will learn to listen.
The Power of Community 🫂
How do you bring community to your coaching? Carnivore is much more than food.

This is a thinker… aside from working on social media presence, I am thinking about doing lives 1x week to talk about what people have on their minds. 30 minutes? Then put it on YouTube. This will then bring potential clients, who likes me, to my platforms. When I have a specific number of followers I was thinking of adding a 1 week challenge per month, and at the end promote my skool page. This is my phase one🥴 The goal is if they like me and the brand I’m building, they will find like minded, and funnel to a community page like this one. Any suggestion?
@James Dawkins 🥴 thank you for the vote of confidence! I should finish my CCI first🫣 I’m a bit shy to go out without it.
Challenging Through a Plateau!
It's quite easy for one to lose motivation when a they stall or plateau, except these moments are actually the most critical to their success! What coaching techniques and strategies come into effect during these moments?

Help the client to focus on their why. And their why cannot be to lose weight. That is not strong enough. It needs to be deep. “I want to lose weight so I can get of my meds” “I want to eat this way to …”. Only when they understand their list of why’s, plateau will be easy to manage. Then we can accept clothes fitting better, going of meds etc. but if we don’t have the why early and strong, it’s very hard to explain it when they hit plateau. I like these questions! Keep em coming! 🩷🥩
