Fantastic Friday!!!
This week I have walked on my walking pad everyday for 30 minutes and @Ashlynn Dohman has always asked me to increase cardio… for June I set a goal for 15k steps and 30 minutes of cardio and never truly understood why cardio really matters… however with hitting that step goal everyday since June 1 and walking intentionally for 30 minutes everyday I have noticed my legs looking toner my stomach shrinking and my balance becoming better… what are your fantastic Friday wins this week!!!! I’d love to hear others small wins of noticing differences.. bc some days I’m like is this all really truly working but then magically I slowly see the small or big results and that is motivating in itself ❤️❤️🔥

Walking makes such a difference !!! And I know it. And I tell everyone it was one of the main changes to help me lose weight ….. yet here I am struggling to get into a routine of intention and steps 🫣
Hear me out..
Dirty Diet Coke with key lime pie clear.. I made up 3/4 scoop clear protein in prob 5-6 oz of water Added ice then added a Diet Coke (aka nectar of the gods 😂) Boom… protein dirty soda! And it’s delicious Like Hannah Montana.. it’s the best of both worlds 😂

This whole dirty soda thing …. I’m not sure I’m into it, my brain can’t make it make sense to try it. Hahaha. Well. I do like vanilla Protien in rootbeer or pepper zero. But that’s like ice cream floats haha.
Sunday prep
Shopping done.. berries and veggies washed.. prepping lunch for tomorrow and I can’t wait to eat it! 🤤🤤 “sweet potato hash” & smoked chicken breasts (chicken complements of the hubs)

Sunday prep is such a game changer in setting up for success ! Figuring out if meal prep or food prep is right for you and holding the standard each week can make such a difference in the daily follow through!! Both looks so yummmyyyy! ( minus mushrooms 🤢)
Routine looks different
My routine has looked a little different lately with this potential autoimmune situation I have going on.. my body dictates when & how much I can do.. Monday was very little.. yesterday I got up early and did 50 min walk.. got home and strength seemed like a bad option so I did a 2nd walk, another 45 min.. steps were no problem yesterday! Today I got up & did yesterdays thrive before work.. ooof she was a spicy arm workout 🥵😮‍💨 let’s see how the arms feel later 😬 got a date to walk after work with my “baby girl”… she said this morning “I’ll wait for ya mama” After a few weeks of not being able to peel myself out of bed early to workout before work the last 2 days feel like a win!! Winning doesn’t always look the same as what it has in the past for us.. keep thriving

Winning is not a set definition! Which is a hard lesson to learn. Winning changes for the season and space and for so many other reasons !
June Goals
My goals for this June challenge are 7K steps, 40oz water, and 1.5hrs of social media apps (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok). The last two days have been baby steps with water and steps but I’m doing well limiting my social media apps. I’d like to continue getting a 20 minute walk with Brandy in. I know I can do 7K steps so that will come. I’d like to increase my water to actually be 40oz. Here’s to day 3!

Way to focus on improvements each day and not the misses ! Thats how you smash the goals !!! I am sitting at a 50% hitting goal currently. But so many days left to be better than June 1.
