Wednesday wins (happy april!! 🌸)
Happy April y’all! Let’s shoutout our wins from the week :). I love reading through these!! I’ve had a goal this training block to do most of my strength days at the gym (nothing wrong with at home strength - I just find I get a better quality workout when I go to the gym personally because it holds me more accountable for some reason 😂) So far I’ve made it 3 weeks in the gym! What’s your win this week? 👇

These are amazing wins!! My win is not really tied to running or working out at all. I just allowed myself to enjoy my trip these last two weeks and not worry about eating the best or worrying about losing any fitness. Hopefully this sinus gunk will clear up so I can start running again this week!
Good luck to our racers this weekend!!
Lots of races happening this weekend and next!! If you’re racing coming up, drop your bib number and race so we can track you!!

Congrats to all the racers!!! Don’t forget to have a blast - this is what you’ve been training months for! ❤️
Athlete Spotlight: Meet Audra!
Hi everyone! You may have noticed that we're spotlighting one of our incredible mentors or first-time athletes each month. @Audra Hahle very generously agreed to be our April feature! Be sure to check out her feature on the blog and thank you Audra for sharing your experiences! 🙂

Friday Poll! 🔥❄️🌧️🌬️
You’ve made it to the start line of your dream race healthy and happy, but you have to pick a challenging weather condition to run in. WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE? (And tell us why in the comments!)

Well after my last race in the heat and how much I did NOT like training in the winter this last cycle, I’m going to pick the rain! Wind annoys me because it blows my hat off. 😂
Friday Poll! 💦
What’s your typical hydration situation for long training runs? Feel free to comment why! I prefer a handheld flask to avoid stopping/chafing, & will supplement with a vest for my longest runs.

7 miles is about the longest I can go before having to use a vest - then I don’t have to worry about running out of water! I have definitely stashed a water bottle around a post before though when I didn’t want to mess with a vest. 😂

Runner, marathon finisher, not a pro — just here to love the miles and help inspire others to start and keep going!
