The Narcissist Black Friday Freebie❣️
⁉️“Is that a narcissist?”❓ Let’s make it simple. 🤔 They shower you with attention at first… then slowly start criticising your every move. ➡️ Yes, that’s a narcissist. 🤔 You try to express your feelings, and somehow you end up apologising. ➡️ Yes, that’s a narcissist. 🤔 They disappear without warning… then reappear with “I miss you” when you start healing. ➡️ Yes, that’s a narcissist. If these patterns feel familiar, you’re not imagining it, and you’re not alone. 🎥 Watch the video to learn more about the Black Friday free access to "That’s a Narcissist" Masterclass and ... the fantastic news? Join our new weekly live sessions inside the DAfree calendar until the end of December. 👉 Have you ever encountered a narcissist in a relationship, at work, in your family, or even in a friendship? What is the first red flag to recognise them? Knowledge is protection. Awareness is power & Freedom. Let's work united, not to let the narcissist win, but to win 🤩

@Serena DAfree this is such a necessary service. Being in and trying to disentangle from a narcissistic relationship is so isolating and leaves one so unbalanced. Knowing there are others out there who know it, have experienced it and can help is important. Thank you for what you do and for choosing to put this out in the world.
What’s a piece of hard-won wisdom you wish more people understood?
Most of us carry insights we didn’t learn from a course or certification…We learned them the long way: through life, work, trial, error, loss, joy, and all the in-between moments. I know the person I am now was strongly influenced by my 17 years working in a community mental health organization as an editor, peer supporter, and, later, executive director. It helped me become comfortable with advocacy, set stronger boundaries, become mentally and emotionally stronger, and see the world through different eyes. It made me kinder. It helped me say no -- and more importantly, yes. I have a feeling there's a lot of expertise and know-how here — the kind that forms slowly, over years of showing up for people, building something from scratch, surviving seasons you didn’t see coming, or learning what truly matters through lived experience. So I’d love to ask you all a simple question: ♦ What’s one truth, lesson, or insight you’ve earned through experience… that you wish more people knew? It could be about your work. Or about being a woman in midlife. Or about resilience, growth, healing, leadership, creativity — anything. There’s no wrong answer because it's yours. (Careful now -- sometimes this insight leads into an idea for a book! 🤞)

What a great question. I've learned that the real turning points come from the quiet, unglamorous decision to stop abandoning yourself. Most of my lessons weren’t learned in workshops or certifications or degrees. In fact, those things took me away from myself. The lessons came from years of working in the real world, being the only woman in the room, holding everything together, building a business from nothing, leaving jobs that were slowly draining me, rebuilding myself after relationships I should’ve walked away from the first time my body said, “This is wrong,” and navigating midlife with that absolute knowing and clarity. The truth I earned the long way is this: Life gets exponentially better the moment you stop outsourcing your power; emotionally, financially, or spiritually, and decide to trust your own knowing. It’s when you get to the point of saying, “I’m done betraying myself just to make everyone else comfortable.”

@Jen Hill Myers Yes, same here. That “be nice, keep the peace” reflex runs deep, and it can sneak back in if we’re not paying attention. For me, choosing not to abandon myself isn’t a one-time decision, it’s a daily practice.
