Day #13 of 30
Wearing my Cancer Buddy to my treatment today. The Dufa on midway point to my 5-year recovery. So hard to believe it's already been 2.5 years since I completed radiation treatments and began my recovery routine. The Dufa started this ride with me on January 23rd, 2023 and hasn't missed a treatment; reminding me that "this too shall pass with time." I can't thank everyone enough for their support and encouragement of me during this journey. Have a magnificent Monday.

@Scott Critchfield That’s a really elegant watch. The deep blue dial has a refined, almost vintage feel, and the minimalist markers keep it clean and uncluttered. The mesh metal strap adds a modern touch while still looking timeless. Overall, it strikes a great balance between classic and contemporary style. The sunburst blue dial (it looks like it catches light differently across the surface) gives it depth without being flashy. This keeps it visually interesting throughout the day. The applied indices and numerals add a bit of personality while still staying understated. They’re not overly bold, but they give the watch a distinct identity you don’t see in more generic designs. The date window at 6 o’clock is a nice touch, too. Placing it there keeps the symmetry intact; it doesn’t interrupt the flow of the dial. Then there’s the case and crystal: the polished bezel and slightly domed look give it a subtle vintage vibe, almost like mid-century dress watches. It feels like something inspired by classic European watchmaking. And the mesh bracelet ties it all together; it’s comfortable, breathable, and elevates the watch so it can work just as well with a suit as it does casually. Overall, it feels like a watch that’s quietly confident, nothing loud or trendy, just clean design choices done really well. Hope you can forgive me, not my best work.
