Being in @Skye Mackintosh’s community today and the energy in there gave me some REAL perspective and a new found appreciation for the process.

This is a lazy post but a post nonetheless! Tomorrow is launch day for my community and I’m terrified. So much imposter syndrome 😂 but I’m confident that it will go well. Grow and learn in public as they say! And big shoutout to @Brian Walsh that has taken the time this week to make sure I’m in a great spot for success. And of course, shoutout to @Ryan Carnohan for getting me on skool in the first place and then continuing to give pointers. Grateful for y’all. Scared or not ready? Cool. Do it anyway. Yeah?

1. Are you using it? 2. What does it say? 3. How is it working for you? When I join a new community I’m always interested to see the first message that comes thru. Some feel fake, some really work. Thoughts?

I made a post on schoolers awhile back, about “what was your first job” and it kind of blew up. I did the same on my group page and it was crickets. I’m curious what questions that were really simple to answer did your members gobble up and had tons of engagement with. I love when a simple question goes deeper in the comments. It’s a great way to get to know your members and have some awesome surprises along the way. TGIF Brothers! I’m on my way to pick up my son at school now! Talk soon.

Five months into building my community, it's been a ghost town. Paid ads consistently bring in 2-6 new members a day, but it's been total crickets (averaging 0-1 activities per day for months!) 'Lo and behold, I started implementing what I'd learned from @Brian Walsh in PreSkool on Monday and the community is coming alive! 🚀 97 activities for the week (so far) 🚀 People are answering poll questions and leaving comments 🚀 I've been in 2+ DM conversations each day 🚀 And had several new members book coaching discovery calls I also have to give credit to this community for showing me how to use posts and questions and comment replies to create and drive better engagement (that's a big part of it too!) 👍 The number of people who have been inactive in the group for weeks or months who are suddenly re-engaged is amazing. 🤯 I really didn't expect that, but clearly the hunger/need that led them to join in the first place is still there. So... Question: Who else has a quiet community that you know has the potential to be so much more AND hasn't yet participated in the PreSkool experience? Time to fess up and get yourself enrolled!! 🫵💪🔥🚀
