The terminology may be foreign to you but let me explain ... When a customer (new or past) reaches out to me, it is because: a) they have a problem. b) they believe I have the skills, experience, etc. to help them solve that problem. c) they want my help. They do NOT want to buy a product or training seminar or hire me as a keynote. THEY WANT THE SOLUTION TO THEIR PROBLEM. So focus on that ... "Oh, yeah, that IS frustrating. I have worked with many that have that exact same issue and I have several ways I can help and which one depends on what you would like the solution to look like. If you think your team needs inspiration so they can fix this, that's a keynote. If your team doesn't know HOW to fix this, that's a lunch and learn session, a training seminar or workshop. (And considering how in-depth this issues is, I would recommend ... ). And if you would like a resource that your team can reference whenever this arises again (because it will), that's a video course that you purchase once and own." So how can I best support your team? That's how you book keynotes and sell products - by being the guide, the mentor, the ELDER they need. The vehicle is the product or service you sell but what you sell is the SOLUTION. Because you are who they need. Enjoy your day! Love ya! Sandi

@Sandra Valks It's Christmas. It's three years since I had Christmas with a team I think. Christmas is indeed a great event.πŸ˜ƒ
Final Week!
Exciting times in my world, as I finish the work of 2025 with not one but TWO virtual events this week! First, a session with one of my consulting clients on what it truly means to be an ally and then a session with one of my long standing customers on Cultural Safety. Both virtual. Both paying well. Both allowing me to earn a living while sleeping in my own bed. And yes, I am grateful. Here's to a great week everyone! I pray your week is as fruitful now or in the very near future! YAY!

@Sandi Boucher how do you manage two virtual events per week ? Is it hour based or I don't know much about it?
Just HAD to Share This!
Just came across this post on LinkedIn and my mouth literally dropped open. HAD to share ... "I stopped asking for support from people who never had the capacity to understand my vision." The wrong audience will make you feel like you’re dreaming too big. But the right purpose will remind you that you were created to lead, not to fit in. Some of the most dangerous advice comes from people who quit on themselves. Some of the deepest discouragement comes from people who’ve never healed. Some of the loudest opinions come from people who never did the work. I had to stop shrinking. Stop explaining. Stop waiting on validation. I realized my vision came from God β€” not from human approval. The struggle taught me this simple truth: When God gives you a mission, don’t let small minds talk you out of big steps.( Life Coach Byron) Wow, just wow! Sandi
