12th April
Don't know how many people here understand astrology, but 12th April is apparently a very big day. Check this out. https://open.substack.com/pub/yuryrockit/p/a-sealed-prophecy-from-1993-named?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=2cm9z6

It was an Easter Sunday April 12th 1998 that my world did not end, but it certainly changed.
Hey!
Hi Folks, I'm new here and will start by answering Ayla's questions. My preferred name is Paul, I am from many places, but am currently living in Maryland, in a northern suburb of Baltimore. I'm not sure I have one "favorite" quote, but I am touched by most expressions of joy and distress by those committed to our lifelong vocation of becoming more fully human. I look forward to joining you in that struggle.

"I am touched by most expressions of joy and distress by those committed to our lifelong vocation of becoming more fully human." Sounds like a good quote to me.
Rest Makes Inner Vision Possible
On stillness, dreaming, and what opens when the static quiets. ❤️🧡💛💚---🩵---💙💜🤍 There is a reason it can feel hard to dream clearly when life feels noisy. When the nervous system is overloaded, inner life gets crowded out. Our dreaming doesn't stop, but in some ways, there is too much static for us to be with them. The body is busy monitoring and managing. Energy is spent simply on getting through. In that state, imagination can flatten. Dream recall can fade, and our intuition can feel far away. 🩵 Rest is the condition that allows subtle perception to return 🩵 When your system calms, inner vision becomes possible again. And I don't mean fantasy in the escapist sense, but inner seeing — a clearer relationship with symbol, longing, direction, and deeper truth. Yoga Nidra supports this by giving the body a structured experience of surrender. A safe container in which awareness remains present, and no longer has to work so hard. And from that place, dreaming becomes possible in more than one sense. Night dreams may become more vivid. Inner imagery may become more accessible. Creativity is ushered to return. A felt sense of what is next may begin to form. This is one of the miracles... the charm, if you will, of the practice. 🍀 It reminds us that vision does not have to be forced and that sometimes it appears after we finally stop pushing. To dream with Yoga Nidra is to trust that conscious rest can restore not only the body, but the imagination. Not only the nervous system, but the inner world. Not only sleep, but also possibility. This is my favorite yoga nidra to tap into that: THIRD EYE YOGA NIDRA You can access it as a Premium or VIP Supporter... or as a one-time investment for the whole chakra series. I AM HERE to dream with you!

@Diet Groothuis I hope you're sleeping well lately Diet, I know you've had a hard time with it before. 🙏
Hey y'all
Hope you all are doing well. I'm just saying a little something to stay in connection. Little by little. I'm working on remembering that it doesn't have to be perfect. I've had some really challenging times lately, and I've also let my practices down during them. I think just me mentioning my intention to practice to y'all might help with accountability. My commitment is that I'd like to practice Yoga Nidra even just for 1 minute, each night. Sending loves to y'all! Also random side note, I'm curious about the captilization of 'Y'oga 'N'idra?

I feel ya on that. I've backslid so much I forgot what going forward looks like. Cool thing is it's like riding a bike, and a bike doesn't have a reverse. 🚵‍♂️

@Ayla Nova My accountant staged a walk out apparently. It's ok though, I fired him.
The comfort of YN
I have been practicing Ayla‘s YN pretty well from the beginning of when this YouTube channel was born. At today’s MRI scan I was quite apprehensive because I get claustrophobic. You get offered to listen to music while you’re in the tube. I wished I could have listened to a Yoga Nidra session instead. So I went through my own body scan and although I couldn’t calm my nervous system completely, it still helped a lot. And for this I am grateful! I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I can relate to that. I'm an annual mri vet so I started using hypnosis to relax. I hadn't heard of YN yet but that is a good idea.
