This is the story I will one day tell. If you are struggeling right now. Please remember you can get through this. Just go back to the people you know you can lean on.
ADHD Hack: Sensory Anchoring
Did you know that you can create flow states with sensory anchoring? Sensory anchoring means using a specific smell, texture, or sound to train your brain into different modes. For example, I create sensory anchors for getting into "focus mode" when I need to work by keeping a cedar block on my desk. When I'm ready to work, I smell the cedar block, turn on some medieval lo-fi music, set a pomodoro timer, and get to it. Now my brain associates medieval lo-fi and the smell of cedar with "It's time to lock in and get work done!" Have you tried sensory anchoring before?

Fantastic idea. One note for everyone: it’s usually a good idea to figure out how to make sure you’re working on your most important task first thing in the morning—regardless of your morning routine or any physical anchor you use. That way, you ensure your most important work gets done no matter the circumstances, and your productivity won’t dip below a certain level. You’ll also avoid falling into “morning routine” traps that are really just procrastination disguised as productivity. Of course, physical anchoring can be a great way to help you make that transition. For example, I used to play my favorite video game first thing in the morning so I’d actually want to get up at 5 a.m. Then, after a while, waking up that early became normal, and I was able to phase out the game and transition straight into work. The key is to figure out what works for you. No matter how silly or unconventional it may seem. Especially don’t just listen to advice that says you simply need to be more disciplined. That advice can work, but for many people with ADHD, it just drains your energy. And protecting your energy is one of the most important things you have to do as an entrepreneur. I also added a video from Daniel Priestley where he talks about how Richard Branson taught him to focus on the same principles. I don’t usually post this much. Fantastic topic. Thanks, @Bill Widmer Hope everyone is having a fantastic time. All the best. Cheers. Anzumana

Little signs
Sometimes the universe just gives you little signs you’re in the right place… Like today, I went on a drive to get lunch. I was heading to a juice shop, but then found a ramen place and decided to go there instead. (I’m a bit of a slut for some ramen) Inside, what’s playing but Avatar the Last Airbender? And a scene with my favorite character, no less. Uncle Iroh! What little signs have you noticed lately that made you feel like, “yup, I’m in the right place!”?
