Building My Community Has Taken More Effort Than I Expected — But I’m Loving It
I wanted to share a quick reflection from my own community-building journey. When I started, I honestly underestimated how much intentional effort it takes — showing up every day, engaging with people individually, creating posts that spark discussion, keeping the space clean from spam, and trying to set a tone that feels welcoming but also purposeful. It’s definitely more work than I imagined. t here’s the surprising part: I’m enjoying every bit of it. I probably wouldn’t enjoy it nearly as much if it came easy — the effort itself is part of what makes it rewarding. Every new member, every small exchange, every “aha” moment someone shares — it all feels meaningful. Watching people connect with each other and not just with me has been the most rewarding part. I’m still figuring things out, still improving, still learning what works and what doesn’t. But the process itself is energizing.

Same here - I'm currently working 8-10 hours on Skool everyday, and I wish I could work more, but that's about the limit at the moment 😄 I'm also learning a lot, changing what I do basically every week. @Alexey Inyushin What do you like doing the most on Skool? Is it something for your own community, or something else?

@Alexey Inyushin Nice, creating connections is really the #1 priority in my opinion 😊
Anyone Want to Do a Meetup Collab This Weekend?
The same way how we did with Chris last weekend. Combine our members, talk about our communities and get to know each other.

@Tim T I don't think many people are interested ATM, so I will just do a regular meetup at the same time it's in calendar right now and if anyone joins - good. If you can - please do hop on!
How Could Your Community be Improved?
In the last days I've talked with so many of you and got a pleasure to know you personally 🙌 And got to know the amazing things you do. And the problems you face. So I want to ask: What is something you are doing in your community that could be improved this week? What's the 1 improvement that would bring the most benefit? Personally, I could name 10 things that are blocking me or could be improved in my community. So I'm sure everyone has something they haven't figured out yet. 👇 Drop what you haven't figured out yet, and let the community figure it out for you.

@Harvey Raybould I went through the whole challenge, and I thing it's good. I like that it's very simple and clear, without overcomplications. One problem - right now it's neither challenge nor course. I don't think that people will go through it by themselves for 7 days. You should either do it as a challenge and post it yourself everyday for 7 days, or make it more like a course. But overall, if we talk about courses, my reservations: 1. People won't consume value like that if it's free. 2. Overall I don't think courses are very actionable. Meaning, people won't use that theory to its full potential. In order for them to really apply the theory, I believe consultations such as 1:1 or cohorts, or group workshops work much better. That's my opinion.

@Harvey Raybould I think it's a trade-off between those tings. If you leave it like this, I don't think many people will go through it. If you want it to bring value to people then you'd have to put in some of your own time. And I agree, it's not really worth it to do that for a free course. Especially considering that people see free value as a hassle. So why try hard if they don't even want it? If we're talking about this as a challenge, you could spread it out. Make it 7 week challenge, or 3.5 weeks. Would probably need to see what people want - or don't want 😄
