😞 Major Fail - partner community launch
We learned some lessons last week! As you know, being partner promiscuous is a big part of the game in Sago world. That was my core model for the past 7 years because it was easier to rev share than ask for money while building up our method, so no stranger to it. We had a GREAT opportunity... This guy has 38k on insta, a decent size email list and MAD credibility (he trains the dudes who become super heros for Hollywood like Hugh Jackman into Wolverine). He has a Prahdukt that's not selling well on how to get your Testosterone level to 1000+ ng/dl = "superhero levels". We knew a MICRO COMMUNITY would be a better way to sell it rather than the isolated island this product was sitting on. The real win was knowing he had already polled his email and insta and had over 300 people raise their hands for this... the money math made sense. 🤑 if we had 200 sales @ $97 = $20,000. 🤑 then month 1, we would build a merch shop to solidify the identity of becoming a 'T-King' 🤑 then month 2 as the challenge wraps up we would do an auction for high end coaching with him. Then use that to sell everyone else on a lower end membership. 🤑 this challenge could then be duplicated 4-5 times per year, and it could be LICENSED to other fit pros and mens health experts. We knew there was a good $25k in potential, and we'd get 40% of it. So we took 2 weeks to build a pop up skool and i built out everything from classroom to community rituals to launch sequence. The one week promo window quickly became a sunday night push giving us 2 days of selling. He didn't send the emails we needed. He changed the strategy half way through the 2 day sales window. He didn't start tapping until the final few hours. We ended up getting 10 guys in and the $20k vision realized into just $1k. He shut down the group the day it began, took off with the $1k. Ghosted us. **this guy did this to us back in 2019 when we first co-launched a membership called SuperHero Squad and he shut it down on day 2 after a $20k launch **
