⚔️ Friday Brotherhood Check-In
The end of the week is a good time to ask yourself one question: Did your actions match the man you're trying to become? Progress isn't measured by having a perfect week. It's measured by keeping the promises you made to yourself when it would have been easier to quit, procrastinate, or make excuses. Every workout completed. Every difficult conversation you had. Every temptation you resisted. Those are the moments that forge character. Now it's time to look ahead. Vote in the poll below and let the brotherhood know where your primary focus will be next week. Then, in the comments, tell us one specific action you'll take to make sure you follow through. Small commitments. Consistent execution. Stronger men.

⚔️ Friday Brotherhood Check-In
About 4 years ago I made some notebooks and published them on Amazon. In total I've made about $40. It wasn't for the money, it was a project that I decided to see through. Everything about it was out of my comfort zone — learning KDP, making the notebooks, hiring a formatter and cover maker. But I did it. And the latest few dollars I got was a reminder that creating something once and selling it over and over again is a really good way to make life for future me easy. So this week I am going to make a 6 month plan for my business, choose a course and choose a book to work on over the next month and publish them to expand my passive income empire.
A while ago I made a list of book ideas and I updated them today. There are 40, but some may merge together. I think a goal of publishing one book a quarter would be good. I have outlines for about 6 of them. I'll choose one and commit to it and see it through. Next is write 2026 goals. One of my strengths is vision. I get lots of ideas and want to do so many things. But this is gift is completely unbalanced because I have very little patience for execution. Right now I have no choice but to do both on my own. In the future I will hire people to execute my ideas.
No One Is Coming
Every Monday, thousands of men promise themselves that this will be the week. The week they'll start training. The week they'll stop procrastinating. The week they'll finally take control. Then Friday comes... and nothing changed. Here's the truth: No one is coming to save you. Not the perfect opportunity. Not more motivation. Not someday. The life you want is built by the choices you make today. One workout. One difficult conversation. One chapter. One sales call. One promise kept. Small actions, repeated consistently, become the man you're trying to become. Don't focus on winning the month. Win today. Then do it again tomorrow. What's one non-negotiable commitment you're making this week? Write it below. By putting it in writing, you're giving your brothers permission to hold you accountable.
No One Is Coming
@Cody Giroux I make pie
@Cody Giroux Finished it yesterday. I'm worn out but it feels good. A lot of relief.
Train Even When You Don't Feel Like It
There will always be a reason to skip today. You're tired. Work was stressful. You didn't sleep well. You'll "make it up tomorrow." The body listens to excuses just as easily as it responds to discipline. Every workout you complete when you don't feel like it strengthens something far more important than your muscles, it strengthens your character. The Stoics believed that voluntary discomfort prepared a man for life's unavoidable hardships. Training is one way we practice that principle. We willingly choose something difficult so we're better prepared when life chooses difficulty for us. Don't train because you feel motivated. Train because you're becoming the kind of man who keeps his word to himself. What's your training focus right now? - Strength? - Fat loss? - Endurance? - Mobility? - Something else? Share one thing you're working on this week. You might inspire another brother to stay consistent.

The Forge Is Burning Again🔥
First say to yourself what you would be; then do what you have to do.” — Epictetus Brothers, It's been a while. I stepped away for a reason. I needed time to think, to reflect, and to ask myself an important question: What should The Stoic Forge truly be? The answer became clear. This isn't meant to be another group where people consume content and disappear. It's meant to be a brotherhood of men committed to becoming stronger, physically, mentally, and morally. A place where discipline is practiced, not just talked about. As we rebuild The Stoic Forge, I'm looking for a core group of active men who genuinely want to change their lives. Men who: - Show up consistently. - Hold themselves accountable. - Encourage and challenge other members. - Contribute to building a brotherhood worth belonging to. If you're looking for a quick fix, this probably isn't the place. If you're ready to build discipline, develop character, and become the kind of man your family, friends, and community can depend on, then I want you here. This is a fresh start for the community and for me. So let me ask you: Who's committed to forging a better version of themselves? Drop a comment below. Tell us who you are, what you're working to improve, and make a commitment to this brotherhood. The Forge is lit again. 🔥 Let's get to work.

@Cody Giroux Yes, thank you. A lot of internal growth over the last year. Not much external though. Need to change that.
@Cody Giroux I'm glad to hear it. What is your next move for this group?
The Provider’s Burden
Every man carries weight on his shoulders work, family, finances, pressure. That weight can either break you, or forge you. Comment below with the biggest weight you carried this week. Doesn’t matter if it’s personal, financial, physical, or emotional, put it here. Brotherhood means not carrying it alone. Which burden hits you the hardest right now? If none of these fit, drop your answer in the comments.

I quit caffeine last week. Going through the withdrawal/recovery. Feeling good though. I quit because I know that the ideal me doesn't need it.
