First of all, sorry I’ve been a bit quiet, guys — I’ve been away in Olhão, Portugal, catching up with my lifelong friend and J4K Ireland coach, Matt Gregg. And it really is a funny old world… While walking through the many narrow streets of Olhão, I suddenly spotted a very familiar face staring back at me from an estate agent’s board. It was Tiago Maia. Tiago was a professional goalkeeper here in Portugal, and J4K sponsored him for around 8 years before he retired a couple of years ago. So it was a brilliant surprise to randomly see his face while walking around Olhão. I reached out to him straight away and finally had the pleasure of meeting Tiago properly in person after all these years. And now, in another strange twist, Tiago is going to help me buy a property here in Portugal. So after all those years of J4K glove sponsorship, I’m hoping he remembers who looked after him and gets me a VERY good deal! 😂 Funny how life works sometimes.

My Sunday success was that I played a half for an eleven a side team who play up a year and we won 10-1 against a team in the division above. Looks like they want to bring me in to play in their harder games. Which works for me to be honest. The big win was being asked to join them and also being asked to play for my school team. I would have shared this on the normal Sunday success post that @Ray Newland normally shares but I'm not sure if he has done it. What was all your success stories and wins from the week. ???

The boys completed a charity 5k last night in memory of our coaches twin brother Daz and all to raise money for the Isle of Wight Air Ambulance 💙

So I have been asked to sign for an under 13s side who play 11 aside at u14s. Today I am playing in a friendly for them. Will be my first time playing 11 aside. Excited for a new challenge

Always having J4K gloves on 🔥
