New Weekly Leaderboard Competition
Every week the #1 member on the 7-day leaderboard will be upgraded to a Premium membership. If they are already a *paying* Premium member, they will be upgraded to a VIP membership. Only one member will be upgraded per week. This week's winner is @Nishat Fatima who gets upgraded to our Premium tier. Since this is a new “feature” we've added to the community, I'm also going to upgrade @Waisale Naqiolevu to VIP because he was #1 the last few weeks. What Nishat gets with her Premium membership: - Everything in our Standard tier - Call-free coaching in the community (business questions, copy feedback) - Instant access to all courses, workshops, and call recordings - New course, guest lecture or workshop every month What Wes gets with his VIP membership (because he was already paying for Premium): - Everything in Premium - Highest priority for answers to questions in discussion forum - WhatsApp access to Nabeel for coaching and copy feedback - One 1:1 coaching call per month - Complimentary tickets to any in-person events @Matthew Volkwyn and I host How to Win the Weekly Leaderboard Competition It's simple. Just show up and engage in the community. The easiest way is to “learn in public.” Go through the courses in the classroom and share how you are implementing what you learn. For example, if you're doing Copy Translation which @Alicia Joseph teaches in Copywriter Starter Kit, post your marked up copy with your notes. If you are hand-copying ads from our Legendary Ads Vault, post the photos of your work and write up what copywriting principles you learned from the ad. How NOT to Win the Weekly Leaderboard Competition Low-quality posts, engagement farming, and stupid questions. I actively delete posts like this.

Respected brother @Nabeel Azeez , I have read the post earlier . But I wanted the noise around me to settle and wanted to sit with a calm heart and clear mind before I replied . Now I am here. I want to thank you . Genuinely. Sincerely. When I read about my premium upgrade , my eyes filled with tears . Tears of Gratitude. This announcement seemed to me like a ray of hope in darkness. Like water found in the middle of desert . I feel myself more responsible now. I will honour this opportunity the way it deserves to be honored . May Allah Almighty make every path easy for you . May he reward you in ways only He can . JazakAllah Khair , brother. Feeling blessed .
Show Us Your Hand-Copied Ads
Pick an ad from the Legendary Ads Vault. Copy it out by hand. Take a photo of your work. Post it in the comments. Repeat until you've hand-copied all 1,536 ads.

@Nabeel Azeez 1 credibility : use of "I" , He gives examples by sharing headline from the Digest and says that as a copywriter he learned writing headlines with the help of The Digest. 2 authority . 3 Likeability ( increases when David Ogilvy uses "I" in the sales letter . He himself was an author . 3 Benefit centric messaging like whats in it for audience . . 4 . Objection handling at the point that where David Ogilvy writes " some highbrows may look down their noses at the Digest , charging it with superficiality and over simplification" Then he explains why is it so . And when he explains that the digest is incorruptible and editors are independent . 5 Social proof --- when David names Good Pope John , DeWitt and Lila Acheson Wallace 6 . Believability . Like he uses different numbers / stats 7 Use of Emotional language, Similies . Like when he compares the Digest's reader with angels and crusaders etc. This has made me emotional too . This makes the reader feel that reading Digest is the noble cause . 8 Flow . 9 .Clarity 10. No sales language . Simple first person story style . 11 . Transparent and emotional closing .

The lessons I learned from Amanda Khayat podcast ( recommended by Sir Nabeel Azeez ) Part 1
❣️She had seen abundance in her real life. When she entered into a phase of trials and turbulence , she always knew in her mind the wealth was achievable as she had seen in her life like private school , Mercedes , traveling. She tried her best and achieved success . So, as a beginner , I see a lot of success stories around me . I know now that this is real. I just need not to give up and be consistent in my endeavors like Amanda. ❣️Always stay in a problem- solving mode like Amanda . If no computer ; use a cell phone . No job ; join networking groups and be vulnerable. ❣️In the words of Amanda, be ‘shameless’ . Jump in and try to figure out things in real life . ❣️Act the same day as you got an idea . ❣️Amdana made a Whatsapp business account . That's a trick to look more professional even if you have no results . ❣️Amanda left school but she does not suggest others do the same . Only do this when you are ready to take the responsibility of your decisions . But If you have responsibilities, build the new path for yourself while holding the previous one . ❣️Posting content or real life struggles can sometimes lead to the opportunities where you can be a good case study for whoever invests in you . In Amanda’s case , sharing her daily routine led her to opportunities wherever someone in a good position gave her his course for free . ❣️The more you appear ; the more opportunities you can find . Amanda says : "You have to be real. You can't market yourself as someone you're not.” ❣️Showing your process (not just results) is 10x more compelling than showing off. People invest in journeys they can follow. ❣️Her Instagram bio literally said: "I have made zero dollars in the digital market, but I will become a millionaire with it." This was a public declaration . This way she created accountability for herself because now the audience is watching . ❣️I see networking helps Amanda a lot in gaining her initial clients . So join groups . Send DMs . Get rejected. Keep knocking . Soon one door will open and change everything for you.

ALL free COURSES NOW OPEN ACCESS [Weekly Level-Up Thread No More]
So we've been doing these weekly level-up threads to help members level up so they can access their bonuses. We don't need to do this anymore because I've opened up access to our free courses to EVERYONE. You still need to get to level 2 to post and level 3 to DM other members. But now everyone who joins gets INSTANT access to: - Copywriter Starter Kit - 1,536 Ads to Hand-Copy - Direct Response Ghostwriter - Mindset Masterclass - Minority Copywriter Summit - The Creative Strategist's Handbook We'll replace the weekly level-up thread with accountability/check-in posts for those who are actively going through our free courses. For example, a thread to post screenshots of your hand-copy work. Now no one can say they don't have access to the knowledge. And the difference between copywriters who make it and wannabes who don't is doing the work.

Landed an Email copy client on UpWork
I sent a loom video with my UpWork proposal and judging from the clients response this was what really helped me to stand out from other applicants - showing myself live in a video. I wouldn't have had the ability to speak so confidently in a video proposal if I hadn't gone through List Boss V1 back in Sept 2024. Investing $50 to learn about email list management directly from an expert is a no-brainer.
