✨ Final FreedivingX LIVE of the Year – Open Class Tomorrow! ✨
Tomorrow at 9:00 AM PST will be our last FreedivingX LIVE session of the year, and it’s an open class meaning everyone is welcome to join! I’ll be heading out on a work trip and into holiday travels starting December 12, and I’ll be back January 4, when our regular FreedivingX LIVE sessions will resume. If you can make it tomorrow, I have a fun, uplifting session planned to close out the year together. Let’s breathe, move, and finish strong as a community. 💙 Hope to see you there!

Found a bridge tool on Amazon!
Good news everyone, I found an awesome bridge tool on Amazon, it looks like the same dimensions as my wooden bridge, you can see it here: https://a.co/d/33jSBwL This is great for the chest opener stretches with the controlled pranayama breathing we did in FreedivingX LIVE 🙌 Looks like you can use it for other stretches' and exercises too which is cool!

🏆 November Apnea Squats Challenge – Winner Gets a Prize! 🎁
Let’s have some fun this month and turn up the heat - literally. I’m excited to announce our newest challenge inside the FreedivingX community… 🏆 The Apnea Squats Challenge 🏆 This one’s not just for bragging rights—it’s an AWESOME dry training drill to prepare your legs for constant weight diving and dynamic apnea in the pool. You’ll build CO₂ tolerance, leg endurance, and mental control, all in one powerful breath. And yes—there’s a prize for the winner with the most points by the end of the challenge. 💥 How It Works You’ll perform the Apnea Squat Protocol as shown in the attached video To enter, record your attempt and post your video in this group. 🧘‍♀️ The Steps 1️⃣ Sit down and start with a static apnea breath-hold on a chair (minimum 60 seconds). 2️⃣ After your static, stand up and do as many squats as you can—each must reach at least a 90° angle. 3️⃣ Your breathe-up = tidal breathing + 2 purge breaths + 1 full inhale. No more than that. 4️⃣ You can hold longer than 60 seconds if you want (pro tip: a 2–3 min static can seriously boost your score). ⚡ Scoring System Your points = 🫁 1 point per second of static breath-hold 💪 5 points per squat Example: • 90-second static + 15 squats = 90 + (15×5) = 165 points 🥇 Challenge Badges Earn your FreedivingX color badge by hitting these milestones: 💚 Green Badge – 200 points 💙 Blue Badge – 300 points ❤️ Red Badge – 400 points 💛 Gold Badge – 500 points Post your video + total points in the comments to enter! 💫 Tips If your static is strong, use it! A longer hold means more points. Just remember, no less than 60 seconds static to qualify. You must wear a nose clip for your attempt to count (this keeps it fair and consistent for everyone). Film your attempt clearly—your squats must be 90 degrees and visible. Let’s see who can stay calm under pressure, power through the leg burn, and walk away with the Gold Badge glory (and a mystery prize 👀). Who’s in? Drop a comment below if you’re joining the challenge!

@Martin K I didn’t get any submissions 😂 maybe we need to wait for more people to join the group 🙌
3rd homework part II
Bummer Started in the morning - right out of bed and had a good feeling about it. warm-up went ok - not as much warmth generation as last night though then I started the CO2 table and went all the way down to the first 2-breath session and stalled after 1 minute into the breathhold 😬 will go for it one more time on monday 😈

Morning breath-holds can be sneaky like that. Your body just wasn’t fully online or warmed-up yet, so stalling at the 2-breath round makes total sense. The important part is you have it a shot. Nice job posting the update honest and real, keep going, you got this 🙌
HW Week 5: x5 Breath holds to 1st contraction +45s & Sub-Max
I wasn't well this mid-week overall. I still did this exercise today going backwards in results. I am coming to confirm that freediving is not a guarantee of revealing yourself, it rather exposes you in a mirror with less noise around it, if you're willing to look at you. What you do with it, starts the real work. No ocean, no depth, no breath hold makes you. Breath work brings me to how my nervous system reacts to stress, my relationship with control, my discomfort patterns. Such reflections need time and integration that its first aim cannot be in attaining numbers. It would become like any other sport! Thanks to a soft ego, I became aware already to how I push, and mostly, that I do not trust myself. I felt the limitations that I learned from life, not the real ones. I did not push hard this week, and that is how it had to be perhaps.

Patricia… this is beautifully honest, and honestly more valuable than any shiny number on a stopwatch. A 4:31 sub-max on a week where you didn’t feel great? That’s solid. But the real win is exactly what you wrote: freediving doesn’t give you anything, it shows you what’s already there when all the noise fades. Your reflections on trust, control, and how your system responds under pressure are the kind of things people avoid looking at for years. You sat with it anyway. That’s real work. That’s the stuff that actually moves you forward long term, even if this week didn’t feel “strong” on paper. Some weeks are for pushing, some weeks are for listening, and this one clearly asked for the second. You honored that without letting yourself off the hook completely, and it shows. Keep integrating what came up. It’s uncomfortable, but you’re learning the difference between your learned limits and your actual capabilities… and that gap is where big progress hides. Proud of you for staying with it, even in the more challenging weeks 💗
