Me
Hi I am being admitted into hospital today, and having surgery either tomorrow or Saturday for my back. So I may only be able to join you late next week.

Samantha, Debbie and I want to wish you all the best, and we hope you have a speedy recovery!

Food prep day for the week. 3 x red peppers, 50g a day. Saves time when sorting dinner out 😊💪♥️

@Brittney Neunzig Yeah, Debbie was having similar problems as you, so she has cut back on having it in sandwiches.

We have celery and carrots almost every day, except when we forget to go to the nearby grocery store. Lately we’ve added daily cucumber slices. And tomato slices about 3 times per week. Soon we plan to increase the amount of each vegetable per day.

@Shane Dyke I’ve actually got the beginning of muscles in my upper arms. First time since “My Bad Flu of 1989”.

@Shane Dyke Thank you my friend!
Good Week
In my opinion, a good Accountability Session today - lots of people attended. Great to hear their wins, even though some of us had tough weeks, people still had solid wins. And good goals for the coming week or two.

Corticosteroid Shots?
Hello all. Does anyone here have any experience with Corticosteroid shots? My niece was over here this afternoon helping out her ailing aunt and uncle (because we have no children & she is an angel) and she was telling me about them. I’m having severe nerve pain in my lower back/spine (I still don’t understand the difference between “back” and “spine”). I’d love to hear from all of you if you have experience with these shots. I’ve still got at least 4 or 5 more physio appointments but I’m not seeing any improvement yet.

@Samantha Tremellen I plan to keep going to Physio and doing the exercises even if I get the shot.

@Shane Dyke Well, I seem to recall our Shingles shot was a lil painful but at our age, we accepted it. “Greater Good”, yes.

Gardener, Disability Advocate, Westie Fan. My connection was that my wife has CP, but now arthritis, vertigo & back/spine degeneration are the issues.
