ISBN - Free or Buy Your Own?
I am publishing to Amazon KDP for the first time. Is it best practice to use the free ISBN provided by Amazon KDP when uploading your book or better to buy your own ISBN/barcode?
Colorin.ai
Is anyone here actively using Colorin.ai to create your coloring books? If so, I would love to hear your honest opinions on this software - the good and/or the bad and how using this software has impacted your sales on Amazon?
AI Fiction Books
Is anyone here creating Fiction stories with AI to sell on Amazon or independently eg. Mystery, Romance paper or ebooks. If so, I would love to hear about your process working with AI to create these types of books 😊
Why I Stopped Using ChatGPT for Coloring Books
I used ChatGPT for a while to generate coloring pages, but if you’ve tried it, you already know the pain 😅 Broken lines. Weird shading. Styles that don’t match what you asked for. Too much back-and-forth prompting. A few days ago, someone who follows my YouTube channel reached out and put me onto a new tool called Colorin AI. 🌈 I’ve been testing it out, and honestly… it’s just easier. No fighting with prompts. Clean coloring lines on the first try. Styles actually look like *coloring pages* — from super simple kids pages to more detailed adult designs. I tested multiple styles, downloaded pages, and even printed a few. It nailed what I wanted without revisions, which is the biggest win for me. If you’re creating coloring books (or even just pages for kids), this tool saves a ton of time. I’ll drop my affiliate link below for anyone who wants to check it out. Pricing is reasonable, and you can use code CREATOR25 for 20% off YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT HERE If you’ve tried ChatGPT for coloring books before and got frustrated, this might be worth a look.

Are coloring books still profitable on Amazon or is this niche already too saturated?
A Tip I Wish Every Author Knew Before Publishing on Amazon KDP
One mistake I see many authors make is assuming: “If my eBook looks good, my paperback will too.” Unfortunately, Kindle and print books are built very differently. Here’s what often catches authors off guard: 🔹 eBooks are reflowable: readers can change font size 🔹 Paperbacks are fixed layout: spacing, margins & trim size matter 🔹 A file that works for Kindle can fail completely in print 🔹 Reader complaints usually come from print layout issues, not the story What professionals do differently: ✔ Separate formatting for eBook & paperback ✔ Proper margins and gutters for print ✔ Clean chapter breaks & consistent styles ✔ Files tested before upload, not after rejection I share this here because Skool is about learning together, not gatekeeping information. As someone working hands-on with KDP and digital/print books, I’m happy to drop practical insights that help authors avoid costly mistakes. 👉 Author question: Are you planning to publish eBook only, paperback only, or both? Let’s talk 👇

@Clara Ellison 5000 words each, 🌶🌶 fiction, standalone short reads for now but also wanted to sell as a bundle.. wanted to start with flash fiction then progress into novellas etc down the line once established.. was originally hoping to do all this with digital downloads only but hear so much about KDP all the time and now I see they also have a short reads section 🤔
