Sun - May 3. Have you been soul-searching lately?
Hello My Soul-Searching Friend! It seems folks are doing quite a bit of that these days. Finding our way through days where external Chaos invites us to pile on top of our internal Chaos. I'm no exception. You know I went offline in mid-April to rest my brain and be physically active outdoors in Nature with Hubby. And it was wonderful! Since I returned, I have had the unexpected outer Chaos of one of my friend's horses at my barn needing to be euthanized (loss of animals- I bet you know something about!) and construction contractor Hubby breaking his right ankle and sending everything into a tizzy around work and home. It's caused me to reflect on the Chaos I am feeling in having too many ideas and too many directions created in my work. I need to get a handle on my mental octopus, because I can't do it all! I plan to move our Calm your Chaos Community over to my SpeakerHUB platform soon. I have a comprehensive set-up there, and I'm known and directly supported in SH, which will help me to better support you. No immediate moves are happening today! I'll announce this again. Please just be sure to message me your email address if I don't already email you directly. I'll be sure you get added to the community when we move. In the meantime, Have you been soul-searching lately? It would be great to hear about how and why!

First of all, wow ! To go and reset and come back and the outer world just surprises you with more chaos! It really is a never ending journey of life! I have been doing a lot of soul searching the last 2 weeks and made some decisions to help me towards where I need to be and what I need to focus on to lesson both the external and internal chaos. Still a ways to go but I feel all the self analysing ive been doing has helped me learn things about myself

@Bonnie Brindle The Anxiety Avenger ive been writing down thoughts and trying to make sense of them when I read them over after, changing my dogs eating schedule so she doesnt wake me at 1am to outside so my sleep isn't as disrupted! Ive been doing small bite sized chunks of my study so its not overwhelming. And ive cut back on saying yes to doing things for others so I can spend more tine with myself and my family
Fri - Apr 24. What have you done for a mental health break recently?
Hello My Friend! I'm back from my offline time, and boy did I gain some insight into how much I ( and we all ) need better self-care! Hiking, kayaking, horse-back riding and soaking in natural hot pools in Ojo Caliente and Abiquiu, New Mexico was just the right medicine for Hubby and me. What would be just the right medicine for YOU right now? Let's chat about that! See you on Sunday, Apr 26th, at 5pm MT, 6pm ET, 3pm PT for LIVE Call #14 🤩

Fri - Mar 20. Please Bring Us a Friday Funny!
Yes, I know lots of communities have Friday Funnies, and that's because good ideas get stolen. So isn't it about time to shoot your shot, My Friend?? Share a memory, a joke, a goofy quote. Send us a GIF or a video that cracks you up (Rated G, please)! Laughter beats Chaos, every time... Here, my barn cat Poe looked like he was sailing away in this horse feed bin. I tried to draw a sail, but I wasn't too successful 🙃

Sun - Mar 29. Walkin' and Talkin' to Calm the Chaos
Do you always follow your own advice about clearing your head so you can focus better? Me, either. But I'm practicing what I preach today, My Friend! Taking walking breaks in the park and talking to the trees when my VERY late tax organization makes me want to claw my eyes out. (High drama Chaos management)! How are you taking your own advice to calm the Chaos today?

Tues - Mar 24. How Did Tuesday Get Here SO Fast?!
Truly. I think of you all EVERY DAY, even though getting here to post is a bit less frequent. And recent conversations about birthdays have me wondering about your thoughts. My workout friend Jill has a birthday coming up. She is fit and active with a meaningful life. Still, she's feeling sensitive about her birthday, as aging is an uncomfortable subject for her. My childhood friend @Heidi Beckett has a different attitude about birthdays. She celebrates the gray hairs and wrinkles she's been fortunate enough to earn, because she's still here. Perspectives. We all have them. They have roots in our lived experiences and in witnessing the lived experiences of others. And perspectives can shift with new or unexpected information. Let's chat about perspectives in our LIVE Call #10 on Wednesday at 6pm MT, 8pm ET, 6pm PT. See you then! What's a perspective you have held that's been challenged by new information?

I recently met a new friend and he is a widow, his wife passed a couple of years ago, and hearing his story, and how he says 'life is short', has altered my perception on the saying. its one thing for me to say the saying, its another to to have had such loss that the saying really feels true. my past is full of mental health issues and ive had a love/hate relationship with life and existing, but the last few months, things have been shifting inside me to a 'love only' relationship with life. im 46 now and wish id fallen in love with how short and precious life is long ago, but im here now and thats all that matters !! now to learn to calm the other chaos in life !!
