Where's Josh? (And, some inspiration for you so you keep going.)
Hello Community. I was in the AIS+ community and had to drop out. - Building an agency wasn't for me. - I"m looking to join a new team now. ("New Team. Same Dream") Here's my encouragement to you today. First, read my post in my newsletter. LESSON TO REMEMBER: No matter what, no matter what you are going through, you can do this, you can succeed. There is a way. https://listentoyourlifesong.substack.com/p/ive-been-holding-this-for-21-years I have ADHD and Biploar, with 7 kids and am still, still going. I won't give up. I am returning to W2 work, but excited about it. "New Team. Same Dream." I share my story in the post above. ^^^^^ Here's a message for you: Some here may feel overwhelmed. What do I do? How do I keep going? Some here, frankly, (and this will be hard to hear), may not be a good fit for building your agency. @Nate Herk has talked about this. You gotta' find your lane. Thankful for Nate for doing so much for us and this world right now. Thankful for others. But, I want you to do three things, today if you can. 1. Forgive yourself for everything. Wipe the slate clean. Let yourself just be you and make a mess sometimes. Start out with the person that deserves your love and support, the best YOU. And just let that go right now. 2. Stop. Pause, look up to the ceiling or heaven and just say, "I'm here." You, are here. The present. Be in the present. Be here. Be still. Breath. And, just realize that there is nothing wrong right now with you or anything else. You are alive, breathing and... it's all okay. This is the "awaking step" where you get to be in complete control. No programming or autopilot mode. It's. Just. You. --- Then make your decisions from that space. 3. Write down what you want and who you want to be in 3-5 years. Just do it. Big. Small. In between. MAGIC. It's magic!!!!!! We put a picture of a house we wanted to own on a vision board and a few years later, through odd and amazing events, we had our house. Thousands of stories exist like this all around the world.

@Josh Holladay I watched it yesterday afternoon, thanks.
What do you get if you upgrade to AIS+?
Some of you have never heard of the AIS+ community. Others have but the part that trips you up is the actual difference between the two. Either way, this post will give you clarity. This free group is a bundle of quick resources pulled from my YouTube videos, plus a massive open community that anyone can join. It's a great place to get your bearings and see what's possible. But it's open to everyone, it can be noisy and overwhelming, and there's no path through it. You can get help from other members, but I rarely answer questions here. AIS+ is the opposite: - A step by step roadmap with a clear order, so you're never guessing what to do next - A much smaller community of people who are seriously committed to building and selling AI agents - I answer questions every day and run a weekly Q&A call where you can get direct access to me For the course material: The roadmap takes you from zero to building and selling AI agents, and the whole thing is built on the latest tech like Claude Code and Codex. We update it constantly. The old n8n material has been archived. It's still there if you want it, but it's no longer the focus, because the way you build today has moved on and the courses moved with it. Here's the actual roadmap inside, in order, with when each piece opens up: 1. Start Here (opens the moment you join). Gets you oriented. How the community works, the path ahead, and how to get help when you need it. 2. Build Your Portfolio (opens the moment you join). Why a portfolio matters, beginner level tutorials, and what types of projects to focus on. You end up with real work you can show a client. 3. Claude Code (opens the moment you join). This is now its own dedicated course. Build faster, turn ideas into working automations, and go deep on the tool serious builders are using right now. This takes you from beginner to advanced, step-by-step. 4. Get Your First Clients (opens after 30 days). Getting your first clients is hard, because you don’t have any case studies yet. So, we analyzed all of the success stories from our members and found they get their initial clients with two different techniques: warm outreach and Upwork. So, we teach both techniques in detail with exactly what to say, exactly how to position yourself when you have no proof.

🔥 AIS+ Chill, Chat & Chaos Recap — July 25, 2026: Two Decades of Search Knowledge in One Call, a Podium Finish Against 400 Developers, and 82,000 Tokens Cut Down to 700 🔥
New here? Start with this. Every week inside AIS+, a bunch of us hop on a live call we call CCC — Chill, Chat & Chaos. No agenda. No slides. No guru talking at you. Just builders — total beginners and seasoned pros side by side — thinking out loud about AI and automation. What's working, what broke, what we're figuring out in real time. People show up with a question and leave with a plan. Some weeks it gets deeply technical, some weeks it's just honest talk about building a business with this stuff. It's messy on purpose — and that's exactly why it works. Here's a taste of what you missed at the last one This week's Chill, Chat & Chaos @George Dan has been doing search since 2006, and he gave us two solid hours pulling apart SEO, AEO and GEO — three completely different games that most of us have been treating as one. The number that shut the room up: traffic coming from AI search engines is a tiny fraction of what normal search sends you, and it converts ten to twenty times better. Now guess how many people are optimising for it. Then he laid out the site structure that actually ranks, and named the layout a lot of you are almost certainly using right now. @Sasa asked how any of this beats the big expensive tools, @Holger asked how you even find what is missing from your own site, and @Danan Coleman asked the one everybody launching something needs answered: do you optimise before you go live, or after? Get that order wrong and you pay for it in months. @Michael Olanipekun asked whether AI search can even see a modern website. Turns out an entire category of them is effectively invisible to it — the page looks flawless to you and completely blank to the machine. If yours is built that way, you are not ranking badly. You are not there at all. @Kyle Covan asked the obvious next thing: can we just point an agent at the site and let it fix everything? @George Dan did not hedge. "Just don't trust it on a live website." @Frank Priboy backed him up and made the case for keeping this whole class of work running on your own machine instead of handing it to something in the cloud.

📚 Guess What Just Arrived? Nate Herk’s new book, AI Native.
I started reading it today, and within the first few pages, I had a genuine smile on my face. The one thing that immediately comes through the pages is Nate’s authenticity. The voice in the book is the same Nate I have come to know and respect. As I read AI Native over the next few weeks, I am going to share two things. First, I will share an obscure quote and chapter reference. Second, I will share the thoughts the book inspires about my own journey toward becoming AI native. My comments will not be about the book itself. They may be adjacent to the content of a chapter, an inspired thought prompted by something I read, or a memory from the past year. That’s it. No book details. No spoilers. Today’s quote from the book: “Triplets.” — Introduction I have known Nate, and been a student of his for the past 12 months, and had the opportunity to work with him through the High Ticket Incubator. I also had the pleasure of being invited by @Nate Herk and @Yash Chauhan to spend a few weeks at Uppit AI, gaining an inside look at how the company operates. Seeing the people, systems, culture, and thinking behind the company gave me an even greater appreciation for what Nate has built. That few-week assignment was eye-opening and incredibly impressive. It is amazing how much work happens behind the scenes to make this community work. Now, I am looking forward to seeing what the book brings to mind as I reflect on my own journey toward becoming AI native. Congratulations, Nate. I am excited to dig in. Here is where you can find the book on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4fLr6YF ++++++ Join AIS+ by using this link: Start you AIS+ Journey Today! You may or may not know that I am the number-one-ranked member of AIS+, and have successfully sold over $200,000 in AI services over the past year. While this success was due in large part to hard work and dedication, the AI knowledge I gained at AIS+ was a key factor in my success.

Celebrating One Year in AIS+: A Thank You to Nate Herk 🙌
A question from a member caused me to pause and reflect as I close in on celebrating one year in AIS+. After I posted about closing a $33,500 AI Enablement project for inventory forecasting, he asked: “Did you already have case studies about this type of automation? Or did the client choose you based on trust alone? I’m interested in how you positioned your offer.” It was a great question. And the honest answer is: it was trust, but not trust alone. It was trust that had been rebuilt, repositioned, and reinforced over the past year. Almost one year to the day, I joined AIS+ with @Nate Herk and @Yash Chauhan to begin my AI journey in real terms. At the time, I was not starting from zero professionally. I had decades of experience in operations, turnaround work, business process improvement, post-acquisition synergy, low-code/no-code systems, workflow design, and executive-level problem solving. But I was starting from the beginning in terms of being seen as an AI professional. And that is a very different challenge. Here is the question I asked myself: Is it harder to convince someone you are an AI expert if they have never met you and are introduced to you as an AI professional? Or Is it harder if they have known you for thirty years, already have a fixed picture of who you are, and now you have to convince them that you have transformed into someone who can help lead AI change? My story is the second one. The people who knew me best already trusted me. But they trusted me for what I had been. Operations. Turnarounds. Process improvement. Business strategy. Execution. They did not automatically see me as someone who could help transform a company with AI. That credibility had to be earned. This is where AIS+ became a major part of my professional transformation. Over the past year, I have used this community in three very specific ways. First, I consumed the lessons, videos, frameworks, and examples from Nate and other leaderboard members.
