I decided to wear something other than the Hamilton Dodson reissue or the sand-dial Addiesdive to go out to lunch, so the Baltany Explorer got the nod.

I got my new AliExpress watch in the other day. I actually ordered this before my wife bought me the Hamilton. Addiesdive AD2030 with sterile sand dial, sort-of homaging a certain Grand Seiko reference. VH31 mechaquartz movement, only a mineral crystal, but also only $50 on sale. 36mm case width, 12mm thick and 46mm lug-to-lug. 19mm lug width, not ideal but I'll live with it. 316L stainless-steel oyster-style bracelet with a milled clasp. Very thin and light. Overall a nice watch for the money.

I thought this bad boy would be too bulky. It’s not at all. 👌

Cheap in price but extremely well built , I didn’t know what to expect when I first purchased this watch I just saw them online and had heard some others talk about them as being a decent budget beater , BUT I will say I was very impressed with the quality once I received it . I have beaten the snot out of this watch , worked with it , swam with it and it has not missed a beat and still looks like it did the day I bought it …. Definitely a budget banger and cheap homage Winner in my opinion
