NEARLY got my first auction
Hi Guys So, I did a reach out to uou uoutuber who has a premium course, and explained pretty well I think how it works, not only could they get a good bid for the winner but then can DM all the other bids to make an offer...but got the reply on the picture. I guess what I take from this is some people will either suddenly light up with the idea, or they don't don't get it and I should move on. What's your thoughts? Cheers, Phil

Some great suggestions here from the other guys, the key here for me is that he is thinking this is a premium offer, I'm not selling it for X below that. So I'd offer to guarantee that for him so he gets the price he wants, if the pre auction post goes well you'll know whether you are going to make that and make a killing over that.

@Phil Wheatley Yeh thats what I think I would do, worst case you have to prop up the difference but that wont happen with an engaged audience and a good pre auction post.

About to get control of a Skool-related FB Group
I’m currently talking with the owner of a ~9k Skool-related Facebook group. He isn’t really doing anything with it. The group is spammy and engagement is low. After I asked him “What’s the lowest you’d take?” he said $800. I haven’t given him any number yet. I’d ask for proof of reach/impressions with some screenshots. I’m pretty sure most of the members are either spam accounts or inactive, but the social proof of a 9k-member group and building a structured community might still be worth something. Or am I missing something here and this is just going to be a complete turd?

@Steffen Leidicke Yea, It's been amazing for me that blog post. I really need to copy and paste it actually into a google doc so I always have it to refer back to. It's allowed me to get engagement back intro groups. One of the strands I have always pulled on as well, finding out why they joined the group? Then leaning into that. 3 Qs I've always used to get more from groups.... 1 - If I took one thing from this what would you miss the most? 2 - What would you miss the least? 3 - What you want more of?

@Steffen Leidicke Yea matey, I have. Had quite a few communities over the years. While he is deciding can you make some posts in the group? That's something I would be doing. Look at the posts that actually get engagement and start to put some of your own Travis Style T1s in there!

@Melissa Naslund Wow thats a cool niche!! Bob has smashed it with his answer :D You'd be able to run an auction for this niche and I think it would do great, I have some exp in that niche as well. If you haven't I'd grab the pop up auction from Travis in the classroom. I got a HUGE ROI from that, I bought that and did an auction from the training and did very well!
