Building my Brand and Life
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Arnold, originally from Singapore, and currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I've travelled to 22 countries in my life. I’m an entrepreneur and digital nomad, and I’m here because I’m really interested in connecting with other people who are building things, experimenting with different ways of working, and figuring out what kind of business and life they actually want. I’m currently working on my own business, SelfSync Studio, which is focused around intentional living, wellbeing, burnout, and the way we approach work. I’m also exploring freelance/VA-style business support and different ways of building income online. My background is actually in Industrial & Systems Engineering, so I’m quite interested in the intersection between business, systems, creativity, and people. I’m not exactly in a community building phase at the moment, I’m more interested in the broader entrepreneur journey: figuring things out, trying ideas, meeting interesting people, learning from other businesses, and sharing what I discover along the way. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here! What are you currently building or experimenting with?

If AI Ends Humanity, What’s Your Final Skool Post?
There’s a lot of “AI may end humanity” talk going around lately. So let’s prepare responsibly. If you only had one Skool post left before the robots took over, what would you post? Bonus points if it’s: “Join my 30-minute How to Stop the Robots Challenge.” “Comment ‘ROBOT’ and I’ll DM you the survival checklist.” “Only 3 spots left in my AI Apocalypse Mastermind.” P.S. I’m not trying to minimize the real concerns around AI. Sometimes humor is just a good way to start the conversation. P.P.S. AI companies asking to be regulated will reduce their long-term liability and freeze new startups out of the bigger AI market. Also, they don’t need anyone’s permission to make their current models safer on their own. Just saying.

My post: Comment "CONNECTION" and I'll DM you the the 4-step guide to keeping human connection in a robot takeover. 1) Self awareness. 2) Breathing. 3) Human connection. 4) Personal fulfillment.
Feed back please!
I am shifting my new group info over this week and struggling on deciding on my new community cover image. Do any of these three jump out to you? Open to other ideas also! Thanks so much Skoologists 🙏

The last one speaks most to me. The path is symbolic of new directions and exploration of where things could potentially lead.
COMMON GROUND 🎁
A mysterious package just showed up with your name on it. Inside is something you would absolutely LOVE to find. No rules. Something you lost. Something you’ve always wanted. Something that doesn’t even exist. 😂 What are you hoping is in the box? Mine would be my grandmother’s recipe book. The funny thing is, there never was one. She made everything from scratch and, as far as I know, never wrote any of it down. We have none of her delicious recipes. So somehow, my mystery box contains the recipe book I wish she had left us. ❤️ What would be in yours?

I'd love to find a photo album of my travel memories. Some of the happiest moments and most spontaneous things I did were there, and I look back on those days with lots of joy. Photos of myself crossing the Bosphorus in Istanbul between Europe and Asia, riding the Ha Giang Loop in northern Vietnam, exploring the fjords in Norway and the vibrant city energy in Seoul and Busan in South Korea.

@Donna Thornton it's hard to pick one, but I'd pick the Norwegian fjords because it expanded my worldview and friends beyond my home country, which was one that allowed me to explore different versions of friendship and new cultures.
Doing anything differently in Q4 ?👀
They say doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity😅 With Q4 coming up, it got me thinking... Is there anything you're planning to do differently in your business? A strategy you want to try, something you want to stop doing, or maybe something you want to double down on because it's actually working?

I'm looking to work on possible business strategy and intentional community building for my business. I also want to be less afraid to experiment with alternative Linkedin posts to test engagement.

@Donna Thornton @Jen Ps thank you for the encouragement! Will be happy to experiment a little and see how things go.
