Juicy pulled chicken BBQ sando (yes, juicy and chicken)
A weekly 'speed batch' cook that I do is to make up some shredded chicken. This is probably my greatest 'hack' as it lends itself to so many options. This week, it made for some pulled chicken bbq sandwiches that my son though was pulled pork. He is my pickier palate between the kids and I was both surprised and happy he thought so. Since I had pre-made the shredded chicken, all I had to do was put some in a sauce pan, add bbq sauce and an option dash of apple cider vinegar and let it all get happy with each other with the lid on and an occasional stir is all that was needed. Now, I did have a little extra time on my hands and I was in the mood for french fries. I had two russet potatoes which I sliced and used the way too old fryer from my mom to twice fry them into what I think are the best fries I ever have. I also toss in about 2-3 minces garlic cloves when then come out hot and oh boy...watch your finders because everyone is fighting over them. When you make things ahead of time and just bring them together when it's the right time, you save time, money, and years on your life. Fast meals for families happen when you speed-batch! https://www.skool.com/cooking-comfort-zone-4634/about

Faceless
As someone who's not camera-shy, I have to say that when I see a profile picture that is faceless, it drives me crazy. As an entrepreneur, we need to show our face. People want to connect with us, and if you want to hit your profit margin goals, this is the first thing that we notice. Someone just asked to join my community, and their profile picture is their hands. They just joined Skool so I'm skeptical. Can I trust them? Are they going to be part of the community, or are they lurking and spamming, trying to end up in your DMs, sleazing their way into taking your money? Imagine the first impression you make. You leave a comment, the person gets curious, checks you out, doesn't see your picture, and doesn't connect. Potential client gone. If you're an entrepreneur who wants to hit $4, 5, 6, 10, 20k months, the first thing you want to do is put your picture on your profile. No AI. No hands. No flowers. Just your beautiful face. What comes up for you when you see folks with no profile pictures?

I think there are legitimate reasons for going faceless, some personal, some tied to trauma or domestic violence etc. And a lot of spammers either use an AI face or just steal someone else’s, so that’s not a good measure either. But like you, I want to know there is a real person behind the profile and that they are a decent human. It’s tricky!!
