PITCH HERE! "If I were you, I'd grow your business by doing THIS"
Happy Monday founders - now let's help each other grow! There are so many brilliant minds in this community, and I bet we can help each other massively with a tiny amount of effort. Inspired by @Matthew Burns, I made this post! As entrepreneurs, we juggle a LOT of hats. That means we often have a massive to-do list and are constantly "doing" things - but it's not necessarily the most effective things. So here's the game: 1. Write a one to two sentence description of your business. Who do you serve, and what do you help them do? 2. Share one spot where you're stuck OR where you're not sure what the most important task is in your business. 3. Comment on at least two other people's posts with one TACTICAL thing they can do to get past their bottleneck or prioritize their task list. Example in the comments. Let's all help each other grow!

How to Avoid ADHD Burnout & Procrastination
A new member, @Ced Digital, just made a very heart-felt request for help around ADHD burnout and procrastination. Seeing as this is something that many of us struggle with, I went into great detail around burnout, procrastination, and the two key motivators for getting yourself to do something if you have ADHD. You can check out the video below, where I discuss: 1. The two major ways ADHD brains find motivation for tackling tasks 2. How shame leads to burnout (and how to avoid it) 3. Why your business might feel like a chore and be difficult to execute on 4. And a bit more - all in 12 minutes! Oh, and just for funsies, I had ChatGPT fact-check me on this video so I wasn't misleading anyone. Here's what it had to say, if you're curious. (TLDR; it is all factually correct, if some bits are a little oversimplified) BTW, these are the kinds of things we help our clients with in the Focus Founders Accelerator. If you are an ADHD entrepreneur who would like help healing your nervous system, building systems that work with your brain, understanding why burnout happens, and how to build a business that aligns with your joys and feels REALLY GOOD to build, then book a call with Rex to discuss joining. You'll get to join many amazing souls like @Amber Kay, @Brian Diep, @Rainbow Bird de Soliris, @G. S., @Ori Apkon, @Mahedi Kaiser, @Sebastian Schroeder, and more! I'd love to hear from you - does this video resonate? Would you like to see more content like this? How do YOU experience and handle burnout/procrastination? Drop dem comments baybeeeeeee

@Bill Widmer I thought for sure your comment that "people SHOULD all over themselves" was a clear referene to Tony Robbins!

The money 💰 is in the FOLLOW UP
Have you ever sent an outreach email or DM about your services, just to be ghosted? Maybe you followed up once. If you’re REALLY dedicated, maybe you followed up a second time. But would you send a fourth email if you still hadn’t heard back? Well, this guy did just that. He sent me not two, not three, but FOUR emails. His initial email made a pretty killer offer; a free AI avatar and video scripts. I thought, “meh, probably BS” He sent me two more emails. I still didn’t care. His fourth email? He offered me a $100 gift card if I don’t get any value from the video he wanted to send me. At that point I thought, “OK, I appreciate this guys dedication. He seems serious about wanting to give me something valuable.” So I finally said yes, send me the video. Not because I care about the $100, but because his dedication and willingness to go above and beyond what most people are was intriguing to me. I always tell our clients the money is in the follow-up. “But I did follow up!” They’d often say. But did you follow up WELL? And did you follow up THREE TIMES or more beyond your initial message? When someone ghosts you, don’t take it personally. People are busy and have been burned. They don’t have time to answer every message, especially with so many scammers and shitty offers out there just looking to take their money. Be relentless in outreach, be relentless in giving value. It’s the best way to grow a new business AND an existing one.

wow .. yes .. you hit the nail on the head. I too "followed up" with all my leads ... but did not have the follow through to really chase each lead
