I have a husband with a sweet tooth. I swear his metabolism must be on fire he eats what he wants when he wants and I swear he gains no weight 😡 I started to make him keep his snacks outside if the house 🏠 in his man cave JS.
Do it Tired.
Initial thought. Maybe save it for tomorrow it’s too early for this effort. I’m tired. I can’t. It’ll be embarrassing how many burpees 🫣 Action- did it. Did it tired. Did it at 35lbs. Did it feeling strong. Did it me vs me.

I was up at 6 am ready to do last week day 5 workout. Then came the 😱 then came the 😳 then after the initial 😱 came the 🏋️ 🥵 😓. Did 15 lbs and 18 burpees and made it through even though the last few burpees were more like burp-lets but mission accomplished. .

Time…or the lack of it (real talk)
I keep coming back to this question lately: How do I get more time? Because right now, it feels like I don’t have any. Up at 5am. Work all day. Pick up my daughter. Straight to softball 4x/week. Home at 6:30 (if we’re lucky) or 8pm on game nights. Dinner. Bed. Repeat. And somewhere in there I’m supposed to be training for Hood to Coast, getting movement in, taking care of myself…all the things. I watched Ashlynn’s video where she mentions “saying I don’t have time is an excuse - I need to prioritize what’s important and going to move me forward” and whew… that one hit me. Because part of me is like, okay yeah, priorities. And the other part of me is like, cool, but where exactly does it fit?? Right now, the only real windows I have are Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. So I’m going to make those non-negotiable for movement. Done. But the rest of the week? I’m stuck between: - “This is just a season, give yourself some grace”and - “Are you letting yourself off the hook?” And honestly… I don’t know which one is true. So I’m curious - Have you been in a season like this? Did you push through and make it happen anyway?Or did you adjust expectations and ride it out? Where do you find time when it’s non-existent? No sugarcoating - I want the real answers. Because right now, I’m trying to figure out if I need to level up…or lighten up.

@Lisa Browning totally get that I’ve been doing the meal prep and then what I do is on Sunday. I have Monday’s dinner ready. We just need to heat it up and then when I get home, I do the same thing for the next day so at least when I get home, we can just eat. I don’t know if that helps. I bake off some sweet potatoes. I air fry vegetables, makes it faster, etc. but I totally get it I don’t know if you’ve tried any of the 1st Phorm recipes but they actually freeze really well. I put it in the refrigerator the night before and right into the oven to reheat it. It’s great

@Lisa Browning also if my husband gets home from work before I do if I’m not traveling and staying in a hotel, I’d leave a note what to set the oven on and heat it so we can eat right when I get there or I can eat right when I get there

Tricky, Tricy, tricky. I went ahead and set up my home gym for what I thought would be today's workout. I should've known better than to underestimate you Ashlynn. It took me 16 minutes total only 18 burpees 😢, but I made it through now to push to make it through the day because all I wanna do is lay here. lol started with 15 pounds but by the third round had to switch to tens Because somehow by round three, I wound up on the struggle bus 🚌 😝 Sorry for the facial expression in the photo, but I have sweat dripping down into my eyeballs 😝
