@Sheryl Robinson I’m curious. What does that comment mean? Expect for free (Girl Scouts)
Second revision
I opened my 2nd revision yesterday and finished it an hour ago. It went easier than I thought. Most changes were grammatical. She added or deleted words here and there. Anything that she questioned I addressed or made the changes. She suggested changes and a few I held firm on. I hope they are acceptable. I told her I’d rather come to a compromise than my having to give up on my concept. I already had to give up on my cover idea. More when I get the next revision back

@Liora Vale thank you. Before I read this post I crafted an email stating I observed great covers on the publisher website. I told the marketing manager I showed the cover to a number of people and asked if the cover would entice them to pick it up and read the back. 95 percent said no. Then I showed the ai cover I made with the same blurb and they said yes they would read the back of tat cover. I sent both to her and asked her to pick which one she would read. We’ll see if the owner agrees, or I’m stuck with the original. It’s not as good as ones they show in their website book store .

I have one endorsement lined up. She’s a content creator on Substack and I’ve known her for years. She’s an amazing creator. She’s just begun her page this past year.

I received my ARC this week. I haven’t written much but I have been reading other stories and giving critiques. I enjoy helping others learn their craft

I read through your workbook. While it is excellent for anyone writing a trades book, possibly a nonfiction, it didn’t have enough for the fiction writer. Developing fiction takes a different set of questions and possibilities. It focuses on the imagination and less on facts. I just reread the cover. I skipped that and went straight into the workbook. Had I read the cover all the way to the bottom I would have read NONFICTION. I need to be more observant and less hurried to turn the page. Good job Lynn

I will add new course suggestions, which could be a workbook on writing FICTION. Also a course on how to plot when you're a panser. There has to be a happy medium. Another point that needs to be addressed is POINT OF VIEW. What is it? how to make it work and What if I have a lot of characters? New writers think everyone on the page needs to be heard. (finger wag no they don't)
