Etsy Materials Selection in Listings
Hi I've noticed that there are some listings on Etsy which use a category of 'Wall Art' but have Materials listed which are not in the selection Etsy provides. I don't see how this can happen? For example, if I want to put 'Matte Paper' as a material, I am unable to as this isn't part of the options provided and I don't see how to add a new option, if that's even possible. Maybe through a backend API upload? Any ideas?

I wouldn't worry about this i've never filled out materials and have had 15,000 sales in my lifetime, so it can't be that important πŸ˜†
Upscayl
Hello, I have been using Canva app to upscale, but I’m looking to do this long term and thought I’d invest in a better upscaler, so purchase upscayl but when uploading to Canva says file to big and can only upload file less than 50mb in size, can anyone help? Thanks

@Jack Heddon What you're doing is fine there is such thing as too much upscaling and overthinking πŸ˜†
Image Type for PrintShrimp Upload?
Does it matter if the image I upload to PrintShrimp is a PNG or JPEG (or even PDF)?? Is there any difference in the quality of the poster between the different file types? I am currently uploading PNGs but occasionally the file size is over 50mb with these so I am having to convert to JPEG, which is a far smaller size file but still in the correct dimensions for 300dpi image. What does everyone else do??

JPG is better as it is smaller file size without losing quality
Not bloody frames again... πŸ™„
Hey all, What's the latest on frames? Also, apart from Etsy, is PS doing any 'normal website' integrations for fulfilment? Cheers.

Hey nice to see you again! We are actually really close, we have launched to some select sellers and are testing things for the next week or so...
ROADMAP - Tools > Integrations > Etsy Connection details
I have an order for two posters to fulfil. I added my product as it wasn't uploaded yet, went to Create Order and clicked Import. The import failed because it was trying to pull orders from my other shop. There is nothing on that screen to a) see what shop the current integration is with, b) how to disconnect that connection, c) change the connection to a different shop. The way to disconnect the current connection (and was raised by another user in February, is to a) know what store you are connected to, and b) go to the 'Apps' menu item in the relevant Etsy shop, click 'Connected Apps' and then disconnect PrintShrimp. If you don't see PrintShrimp connected then that isn't the Etsy shop that is connected. Once disconnected, go to PrintShrimp and notice there is no longer a connection to an Etsy shop then you can start the connection process to link to the relevant shop. Roadmap request is on this screen to be able to see the shop name that you are connected to in the PrintShrimp screen, and additionally to put some text to tell people how to disconnect (i.e. directs the user to Etsy to do this). As I imported orders when it was connected to my other shop, the screen now shows a failed order which has no relevance to the current shop and there is no obvious way to remove this from the list of Pending orders. So this is another item - the pending orders list within the 'Create Orders' menu should only display orders relating to the store you are connected to. This is even more relevant because I believe I've seen that there is a 1:1 relationship between your PrintShrimp login/account and the Etsy connection. Multiple Etsy shops? Multiple PrintShrimp accounts. Therefore I should only be seeing orders relating to the connected shop. This might actually be a bug.

Hey Steve, We recommend having one PrintShrimp account for Etsy shop We can change the name that appears on your dashboard if you would like so you can tell which one you are on, just drop us an email You can delete the failed order by clicking the box next to it and then pressing the delete icon that appears at the top Thanks for the feedback and suggestions 😎
