Letting that High Plains Drifter Spirit Ride Shotgun .
As I’m windin’ down my travels here in the Southwest, I figured it was only right to let that inner High Plains Drifter attitude of mine ride on out with me. Draped in a traditional serape, its earth-worn patterns telling stories older than the highways that cut through this desert, the look feels less like fashion and more like heritage worn on the shoulders. The wide-brim hat, the desert cactus standing guard in the background — it all ties back to a way of life shaped by sun, dust, and distance. This isn’t something you see much in today’s modern men’s style. There are no trends being chased here. Instead, it’s a reflection of the Southwest itself — a blend of vaquero grit, Indigenous artistry, and borderland tradition stitched into every thread. Out here, clothing isn’t just about appearance — it’s about place… identity… survival. And as the miles wind down behind me, I ride off carrying a little of that desert silence — and that High Plains Drifter spirit — wherever the road leads next. P.S.. I rolled my ankle earlier that day, so in order to offset the ankle swelling, I had to replace my trusted Lucchasee boots with a pair of canvas “Hey Dudes” which by the way, are really comfortable for long distance driving.

We See You
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, As I like to reflect on my journey, my life, and what I see others doing with their lives, I begin to relate to other’s struggles, the pain, the hurt, the desire to being someone or to reach something. And one of the biggest challenges is people who don’t understand your plight, your struggles, and in relationships this is so very real. This is basically for women that are in relationships, but also for the gentlemen that feel trapped, or struggling to just make through another day. What do I wish women understood about men fine I’ll say it bluntly, men are fighting wars in their heads every day and most of you have no idea. He’s stressed, overwhelmed exhausted, and still trying to hold everything together because he knows if he cracks even once you’ll judge him for it, he doesn’t open up because every time a man does or he gets labeled weak, dramatic or not mad enough so he shuts up he bottles everything. He carries the weight alone because he learned the hard way that nobody cares about a man’s feelings until he’s broken. You think he’s quiet. He’s drowning you think he’s distant. He’s overloaded. You think he doesn’t feel he feels too damn much. He just isn’t allowed to show it. Most men are walking around with pain so heavy you couldn’t carry it for 10 minutes, but he carries it every day without complaining without crying without asking for help because he knows no one is coming. That’s what I wish. Women understood men are not cold. They’re bleeding silently. They’re just tired, tired of being punished. To the gentlemen reading this we see you, you are not alone in this struggle. To the ladies, try to understand the struggle these gentlemen face daily in work, at home, in the community you reside in. Just because they might not make the money you expect them to make, or they are not at home as much as you want them to be because they are working overtime, second jobs to provide, give them a break let them know you see them, you appreciate them, and most of all you are there for them.
