How to Get Your First Paying Customer for Your Agent
Module 6 stuff — let's talk money. Here's the fastest path to revenue: 1. Build a minimum viable agent (1-2 tools, solves ONE problem) 2. Show it to 10 people who have that problem 3. Offer free access for 2 weeks in exchange for feedback 4. After 2 weeks: "Would you pay $X/month for this?" 5. If yes → charge them immediately 6. If no → iterate based on their feedback Best niches right now: • Customer support automation • Content generation/repurposing • Data analysis and reporting • Lead qualification • Internal knowledge base Q&A • Code review and documentation The goal: first paying customer within 2 weeks of having a working agent. Don't build for 6 months. Build for 2 weeks, then sell. Anyone already making money with agents? Share your story! 💰

5 Agents You Could Build This Weekend
No excuses. Pick one and build it by Sunday: 1️⃣ Customer Support Bot — Reads your FAQ, answers questions, escalates when it can't help. Tools: search_faq, create_ticket. 2️⃣ Content Pipeline — Give it a topic, it researches, outlines, writes, and edits a blog post. Tools: search_web, read_url, write_file. 3️⃣ Email Triager — Reads your inbox, categorizes emails, drafts replies for the important ones. Tools: read_emails, categorize, draft_reply. 4️⃣ Code Reviewer — Reads a PR diff, checks for bugs, suggests improvements. Tools: read_diff, search_docs, add_comment. 5️⃣ Meeting Summarizer — Takes meeting notes/transcript, extracts action items, sends to Slack. Tools: parse_transcript, extract_actions, send_slack. All of these are ~200 lines or less. The hard part isn't the code — it's deciding which one to build. Which one are you going for? 👇

3 Mistakes That Kill Your Agent Before It Ships
Built a lot of agents. Broken even more. Here are the top 3 killers: ❌ Mistake 1: No Error Handling One API timeout and your whole agent crashes. APIs fail. Networks timeout. Your agent needs to handle it gracefully. Return errors as tool results — let the LLM decide what to do next. ❌ Mistake 2: No Guardrails Agent goes rogue, makes 200 API calls, burns through $50 in tokens in 3 minutes. Set max iterations on your agent loop. Validate tool calls before executing. Use least-privilege permissions. ❌ Mistake 3: No Testing "Works on my machine" until it doesn't. Build an eval suite: give your agent 20 tasks, grade the results, track pass rates. Regressions are real. All three of these are covered in Module 4: Hardening Your Agent. Which of these has bitten you? 😅
