“Attention is the b
eginning of devotion.”
— Mary Oliver
I've been thinking a lot this week about where we put our attention.
The energy we bring into a room.
The people we sometimes take for granted.
The little conversations that may mean more than we realize.
The ordinary moments that don't always feel important...until suddenly they do.
Maybe that's the lesson I'm taking from this week.
Pay attention.
Pay attention to what makes you feel good.
Pay attention to the people who show up for you.
Pay attention to the person who might need a smile or a hello.
Pay attention to the little moments happening while we're busy waiting for the big ones.
And maybe today, our Four Cubed practice can simply help us do that.
🧘 Meditate — Be still long enough to notice how you're feeling.
📓 Journal — What mattered to me this week?
🎨 Create — Do something simply because you enjoy doing it.
🌸 Focus — What deserves more of my attention this coming week?
No need to solve everything today.
Just notice.
Because maybe a good life isn't only about creating more...
Maybe it's also about noticing more of the good that's already here.
Here's to carrying a little more appreciation, connection and intention into the week ahead.
