"From a tech standpoint, PropertyEdits.ai is a marvel. As a real estate photographer, I've seen a few different products that call themselves videos made from stills. Most of them are just slideshows of the still photos set to music. Some of them take the time to put the stills in a video editor and use panning and zooming to add motion, but it is obviously just a still photo.
PropertyEdits.ai is the first stills-to-video product I have seen that actually LOOKS like real video. No doubt about it. You see the parallax effect. You see reflections moving across smooth surfaces as the "camera" moves. I gave them one photo of a room and they turned it into a dolly-in, moving the window light reflections as the camera moves, and making the ceiling fan spin.
In a room where I gave them two photos, they gave me a lateral tracking shot that looked just like a camera operator was sliding right-to-left across the room. I gave them a handheld photo of the pool area in the backyard, as well as a drone still shot of the pool, and they made it look like a drone pull-away video. I didn't have to film or edit to get this.
The quality is excellent and I think that there is a place for this product. If you have a client that wants video but feels it is too expensive to pay what it really costs to produce a traditional property video, this is an affordable alternative that may fit the bill."
