Red Letter Quote #1 (KJV) — Luke 10:41–42
"…Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful…"
Brother, you're busy—but you're not alive. You're moving all day, but your soul is starving. And you call it "responsibility," but I'm telling you—some of it is distraction.
I said, "thou art careful and troubled about many things." That's you when your schedule runs your spirit. That's you when you can't sit still. That's you when you're always "handling it," but never hearing Me.
And then I said: one thing is needful. One thing. Not ten. Not complicated. Not a spiritual to-do list. The one thing is Me—presence. Abiding. Listening. Receiving. Letting the Father set your inner world before you fight the outer world.
Brother, you keep trying to "fix your life" without feeding your soul. So you stay careful and troubled. You don't need more hustle. You need stillness with Me. Stillness isn't laziness. Stillness is alignment. Because when you slow down with Me, you make better decisions. You speak with more restraint. You love your family with more patience. You handle pressure with more clarity. You resist temptation with more strength.
So today, stop rushing past Me. Stop treating the Word like a drive-thru. Stop treating prayer like a checkbox. Stop treating your spirit like it's optional.
One thing is needful. So choose it. Put Me back in the center. Not as an accessory— as your foundation. Brother, a frantic man will always be tempted by escape. But a centered man can endure. Come to Me. Slow down. Choose the one thing. Then go carry the many things—without losing your soul.
Red Letter Quote #2 (ASV) — Matthew 6:33
"But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness…"
