Red Letter Iron Day 53 — Stop Worrying. Start Trusting.
Red Letter Quote #1 (KJV) — Luke 12:29
"And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind."
Brother, worry is not responsible thinking; it's a doubtful mind. It's you living like the Father isn't good. Like He won't provide. Like He won't guide. Like you're alone.
And I know the pressure is real. Bills. Kids. Work. Health. A future that feels uncertain. But hear Me: being of doubtful mind will steal your life. It will make you impatient at home. It will make you reach for escape. It will make you control people. It will make you compromise to feel safe.
So I said: seek not. Don't chase provision like an orphan. Don't obsess like you're fatherless. The Father knows what you need. That doesn't mean you don't work. It means you don't worship. Work with integrity. Plan with wisdom. But stop letting anxiety be your advisor.
Worry is you trying to predict and control outcomes. Trust is you doing the next right thing and letting the Father handle what you can't.
So today, brother, name what you're worried about. Then surrender it. Not "I'll think about it later." Surrender it—now. Then get practical: Make the call you've avoided. Write the budget. Do the workout. Have the conversation. Get accountable. Stop procrastinating and calling it "waiting on God."
But don't carry it like it's all on you. It's not. A doubtful mind makes you double-minded—pulled in two directions. Trust makes you steady. Brother, the Father does not lead you by panic. He leads you by peace. So seek not. Release the anxiety. And live today like a son whose Father is watching.
Red Letter Quote #2 (KJV) — Luke 12:32
"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."
