Protein is king. And I’m not talking “bro-science” big arms and shredded abs. I’m talking survival. Protein is the building block of everything you are. Your hair, nails, skin, eyes, enzymes, collagen, even your immune system—none of it exists without protein. Here’s the kicker: your body can only store about 10 grams of amino acids. That means if you’re not eating enough protein daily, you’re setting yourself up for breakdown, fatigue, and weakness. 👉 Complete proteins (meat, eggs, dairy) give you all 9 essential amino acids. 👉 Incomplete proteins (many plant sources) need to be combined—like beans + rice—to deliver the full package. So how much do you actually need? - To survive: 0.8g per kilogram of body weight. - To grow stronger: 1.1–1.7g per kilogram. - Pushing your limits: up to 3g per kilogram. - Don’t just watch the scale.
