No Mind Reading
"I shouldn't have to tell him. He should just know."
This is the sentence that kills marriages. It assumes that love = telepathy. It doesn't. Your spouse cannot read your mind. They cannot guess your feelings.
Clarity is kindness. If you need a hug, ask for a hug. If you need help, ask for help. Stop testing them and start talking to them.
