Good evening. For those of you who are experienced RTO facilitators or experienced real estate investors, other than getting educated, what do you suggest as the first few key steps to get started with RTO as a strategy?
To oversimplify it: get a deal done - notch it out on your belt. Now you can start to assess which strategy you would like to focus on. Whether that is with 1. a property you already own (House first model) and find a tenant-buyer, 2. you are willing to buy a property for a great tenant buyer (tenant first model) or 3. Structuring a NMDD with a TFL or an investor friend to put the deal together. Once you have your first deal put together you can better assess which RTO model you want to put most of your energy into. Then, you can really start to take off.
