The Pasaka Sweater is the second design in my Tribute to Latvian Mittens collection. The name means "fairy tale" in Latvian, inspired by a traditional mitten that reminds me of a snow flake so perfect it could only exist in a fairy tale. ❄️ The construction is a top-down round yoke and the stranded colourwork has some longer floats in places, which should be caught using the Ladderback Jacquard method. The pattern includes videos, as well as charts with suggested ladder placements. There's also a full construction deep dive on YouTube if you want to see me go in more detail. First, I want to apologise for the sleeves landing all in one week. Two sleeves in a single clue was a lot to ask, I know. At the same time, for many of you that was the final clue, so I hope there was no real pressure attached to it. From here on, there is no pressure at all. I just hope you will all complete your sweaters and wear them proudly. 🤩 And if you are doing the cardigan option and still working on the sleeves, I'm sure you will appreciate a chance to take a little break to go through the steeking experience!
