I know I’m late to knit this but here is my MKal 2025 knitted in cotton/acrylic mix it’s knitted up beautifully and amazingly has not been blocked

I have knitted until I am supposed to split. I have put the lock markers in place but the last area is only 23 stitches instead of 55 (I am making size 5). I started with 307 and now have 328. Was I supposed to add a stitch or knit and add together on the increases. Any other suggestions?
