One stitch offset…. Frog it?
Hi everyone,
I’d love to get your thoughts on something before I continue knitting.
I’ve just started Clue 2 and already in the first row I discovered I had one stitch too many. I corrected that, but now that I’m a bit further along, I can see that the pattern of Clue 2 doesn’t line up perfectly with the pattern from Clue 1. There’s basically one stitch offset.
If I gently stretch the fabric, the motifs line up a bit better, but technically they’re still not completely symmetrical. It’s right at the neckline.
What would you do in this situation?
– Frog it now while it’s still early?
– Or accept it, block it nicely, and trust that no one will notice?
I’ve stopped knitting for the moment because I’m really curious what you’d advise.
Thanks so much in advance!
