Your homework this week? Pick a niche. Let me know if you need help with this step, I've got some ideas. Things to keep in mind when picking a niche - Something that you're pretty sure you can talk about/ research and talk about for at least 10 episodes - Not something that's gonna need a lot of editing. - Ideally something that you can do/speak about at least for 8 minutes at a time. You can do shorts if you want, but this takes a little bit longer to get that 300-500$ benchmark after monetization.
Merry Christmas
It's Christmas in 2 hours so imma say this before I forget. To everyone who celebrates, Merry Christmas. Enjoy the day with the family and don't stress about YouTube. It's not going anywhere. And if you don't celebrate Happy Holidays and keep on that grind.

One Thing
Name one thing you've learned this week! And - I wanted to put something out there - I watch an average of 20-30 videos a week of YouTube videos on how to be better at a skill/ thumbnail design/ etc - would a "Here's the best video of the week" be helpful?
How to YouTube
Idea > Packaging > Video As simply as possible, ideation should take a good amount of time. People click for an idea, even if it's got great packaging, no one will click if it's not a killer idea. Packaging. If no one clicks, no one watches. Your thumbnails and Titles have to be insanely clickable. The aim (at least for my channels) is above 30% when they are under 10k views, and then it drops from there as they get more views. If you get a much lower CTR, the problem is either the idea or the thumbnail/title combo. It can't be the video because CTR is decided before people click into the video Video - First 10 seconds, first 30 seconds, and then the rest. That's the order I would edit in. For storytelling, you can't get much better than Dan Harmon's story circle Hope everyone is having the happiest of holidays
