Using This Community (for those who are new to Skool)
Still trying to figure out what to do in this community? The main thing is to be active and comment on posts, reply to people, and create conversation. The more you interact, the more points you get, and the higher you can rank in the leaderboard. While that's not the main purpose, it's one way to have a little fun and be competitive. But let's look at the categories in the Community tab. General discussion - This is where you can post anything you like about YouTube, your day, how your channel is doing, any milestones you may have reached, and more. This is your area to talk. Don't be afraid to make a post. News - This is where I post any updates on courses, events, and anything else in the community. You can reply to the posts, but you can't make posts. Your questions - This is a very important section. If you have questions about YouTube, this is where to put them. Some of your questions may turn into courses! This is a great way for me to gauge what you want to see, and also for you to get answers from myself and anyone else in the community. QOTD - Question of the Day. I'll ask a question every day about YouTube (or something else), and you can answer. It's very simple :) How do you get points? Well, you need to leave comments or make posts first, then others will give you likes. It's those likes that you get from others that gives you points. If you give someone a like, they'll get a point. What are we doing with the levels? The levels go from 1 to 9, and I will be giving them names. What will happen with them depends on a few things. As this community becomes busier, I will likely restrict making new posts to level 2 and higher (to prevent spam from any spammers who may slip past the questions when joining). There may be courses that are restricted to higher levels, but not really high levels. It's pretty easy to get up to level 4. Will there be any paid courses on this community? Possibly. Those ones will also be in the Pro community which I will be creating shortly. Those are one time payments, or you can join the Pro community, which will be monthly. One-on-one consultations will likely be offered here, too. Those are a one time payment, too.
