My Formula (8+ Years and Counting)
Hi and welcome 😀, my first post, hopefully this will get the ball rolling and you get an insight into MY Eating Formula, perhaps it inspires YOU ? For over 8 years, I've eaten the same meal (lunch) nearly every single day. Most people struggle with healthy eating because they have too many choices. I’ve eliminated that stress by using a Formula instead of a recipe. My Eating Formula (for lunch) takes 10 minutes, requires zero "cooking" skills, and keeps me fuelled until the end of the day. Here's what it looks like: 🎈My Daily Meal (Lunch) Formula 🎈 ⎯ Steamed vegetables (aubergines, carrots, broccoli - I rotate), steamed because it’s the secret to better digestion and feeling light. ⎯ One raw avocado ⎯ 100g ready-to-eat, already cooked, salmon fillet - shop bought. That's it. Same structure. Every day. No variation. 🎈 Why This Works for Me 🎈 ✔️ Zero decision fatigue. I don't think about lunch. I don't plan it. I don't stress about it. It just happens and this includes my weekly shopping. ✔️ Quick and simple. 10 minutes max. Steam vegetables, slice avocado, open salmon packet. No cooking skills required. ✔️ Energy that lasts. My meal (lunch) anchors my entire day. Stable energy, no afternoon crash, no cravings. ✔️ Everything else falls into place. When lunch is solved, I naturally eat lighter at breakfast and often nothing or the very occasional light snack in the evening. It happens without effort. ✔️ Works anywhere. I've maintained this in multiple countries whilst travelling, on holiday, visiting friends. The formula adapts - different vegetables, different protein - but the structure stays the same - the habit stays. ✔️ Real results. My blood markers are excellent.
