📌 WHY SPEAKING KOREAN
Study Less. Speak More. That’s the idea behind everything we do. Not because studying is bad. But because most people spend too much time studying… and not enough time speaking. Think about how most people learn Korean. 📚 Textbooks 📱 Apps 🎥 YouTube 📝 Grammar Flashcards. Vocabulary lists. More lessons. More information. But here’s the question. How many real conversations are you having? That’s the missing piece. You don’t become a confident speaker by collecting more knowledge. You become one by using Korean. Again. And again. And again. We’re not here to help you finish another course. We’re here to help you build a habit. A habit of showing up. A habit of speaking. A habit of using Korean in real life. Because confidence doesn’t come from knowing more. It comes from speaking more. That’s why this community exists. A place where you can stop chasing the “perfect time.” Stop waiting until your grammar is perfect. Stop being afraid of making mistakes. And simply… start speaking. So here’s our philosophy. Study Less. Speak More. Not because studying doesn’t matter. But because speaking matters more. Welcome to Speaking Korean. 🇰🇷
뭐 vs 무슨 — What’s the difference? 🇰🇷
In English, both can mean “what.” But in Korean, they’re used a little differently. - 뭐 is usually used with a verb. 뭐 먹어요? = What are you eating? 뭐 좋아해요? = What do you like? - 무슨 is usually used before a noun. 무슨 음식 좋아해요? = What food do you like? 무슨 영화 봐요? = What movie are you watching? Easy way to remember: 뭐 + verb 무슨 + noun Your turn 👇 How would you say: “What are you doing?”

What first made you interested in Korea? 🇰🇷
I’m curious about everyone’s story 👀 For some people, it started with K-pop. For others, it was K-dramas, Korean food, a friend, a trip to Korea… or maybe something completely unexpected. And sometimes one small interest turns into learning the language, watching more Korean content, making Korean friends, or even planning a trip to Korea. So I want to know what was the very first thing that made you interested in Korea? And do you still love that same thing now? 😄 👇 Tell me your story in the comments!
