Timing

Every spiritual tradition tells the same story: the test comes right up to the edge, and the answer arrives at the last possible moment, never before, never after. It's not the universe being cruel. It's the only way trust actually gets built. If the answer came early, you'd relax back into control and call it faith. The waiting is the work. And you're allowed to be tired of it. Surrender doesn't mean you enjoy the test, it means you keep showing up for your life anyway, irritated and uncertain and still moving forward. That's not failed faith. That's what faith looks like most days. Look back at your own history, the times it got hard, and the times it worked out anyway. That's not naive optimism. That's evidence you've already earned.
